Women should not be included in the same sentence as children in my view.

All the time 'women and children', 'women and children'

Its like 'fruit and vegetables'. They are always spoken about together, but whereas vegetables are extremely healthy and should be eaten all the time, fruit contains huge amounts of sugar, and should be eaten in moderation.

Are you suggesting that more children should have died for men to live? That as men we should have said we are bigger and stronger and will fight our way onto lifeboats? Dropping "etiquette" on a sinking ship would have triggered more panic, started more fights on the decks and lifeboats and would have ended with more deaths and less people being rescued.
