I would strongly advise against ever getting married.. and since society is kinda against men nowadays, refrain from talking to people about men's rights.. most people are no where near ready to be unplugged.

I think it's all in how you present the issues. In addition to being polite, you have to make sure that you don't come across as attacking women. For example, compare the following two statements: 1. "It is unfair that men have to pay so much child support for children that they cannot see." 2. "It is unfair that women get so much child support when they don't let the father see the child"

Those two are saying the same thing, but will be seen very differently. One is supporting men, the other is an attack on women.

Also, be strategic who you talk to. If someone doesn't seem receptive, don't press the issue. Only if they are at least open to your perspective should you press further.

Action opportunities. There are plenty of things you can do but they get buried under memes and rage bait. The sad truth is that most here don't really care, not enough to act, just like how people treat most charity.

Speaking of which, volunteer. I volunteer for prostate cancer uk and other local charities, I have a friend training as a counselor and another a vicar who takes pastoral care of his people very seriously - abused men and men with drug problems
