There are many MRAs and Mens Lib folks who believe that the solution to misandry in society is to bring about awareness and change laws that disproportionately negatively effect men.

However, these positions are flawed. For one, there is awareness.

It isn't like people are not aware of the fact that 99% false incarcerations involve males or that 90% of homeless people are male.

Its no secret that more than 80% of homicide victims are male, or that male criminals are given heavier sentences for crimes than their female counter parts.

It's no secret that females initiate intimate partner violence at the same rate as men. Despite this there are approximately 1/1,000 the number of mens shelters as women's shelters.

It's no secret that the rates of female on male rape would be statistically equal to male on female rape if the definition of rape was expanded to include being "Made to penetrate".

Its also no secret that if a male rape victim impregnates his attacker he can still be held financially liable for child support.

It's no secret that at every level of the education system, males are penalized harsher than females for offenses.

Its common knowledge that 97-99% of soldiers to die in war are men.

There are many more travesties but I will stop here to point out that these issues have come to light but NO ONE CARES! Nor will they care because we are disposable. So with this in mind, are we really making the best of our time. Has this form of activism done anything for us over these last 50 years? Idk about anyone else but im bothered by the fact that none of the metrics i have quoted have gone down in the last decade. They have gone up. So since this isn't working lets talk about what will.
