"Let's Objectify Men". I have seen multiple articles out there trying to justify sexually objectifying men. But this is the worst.

The hypocrisy is absolutely staggering. Objectifying women is seen through the ultimate hysterical lens where it's a violent assault on women (chopping them up to be enjoyed but not as whole, a typical hysterical delusion) but objectifying men, which is done through the same mechanisms with no difference from men objectifying women, is seen as upholding women's rights to their sexuality. I personally have zero issue with objectifying in either direction, as long as respect is upheld on some level, but the narcissism and psychological disorder in this piece, while typical of feminists, is just staggering when approached rationally.

Plus women do this openly already, with the highest level of cringe behavior of anyone when Zach Efron, Jason Mamoa, or Henry Cavill do pretty much anything lmao. Like, supposedly women's sexuality has been kept hidden while boy bands have stadiums full of screeching fans being possibly the biggest most embarrassing creep-fests in existence as if it's perfectly fine. Pure delusion.

"Objectification" is another made up weapon in the arsenal of those seeking victim status. It needs to go in the bin along with "patriarchy", "the pay gap" and "toxic masculinity". The world does not work the way all these words suggest and buying into the ideas will only lead to a distorted world view and consequent problems for the believer.

Neither men nor woman should be objectified. That being said, the first photo is NOT objectifying that person (the woman with her legs up) the model most likely had a choice to take that picture, it is a job. She isn’t being reduced to an object. What I think the author means is Sexualizing someone instead of Objectifying, objectifying is wrong, humans are not objects but Sexualizing is ok when the person being sexualized is of consenting age.

Its a good thing this was clearly unpopular, but I do not think looking at anyone with desire is a bad thing, or that there is inherent violence or whatever associated with it. Shitty people will do shitty things and there are always people, male or female, who want to be objectified, they like it, thats their choice.

Correct me if I’m wrong but the reason most of us exist is because men and women are sexually attracted to one another and they have sex sometimes. Why do these radical commentaries pretend like this is the worst thing to ever happen?

I’ve known and been around enough female friends to know for a fact that they objectify men to an almost higher degree than men objectify women. I was riding an elevator yesterday with two girl chatting about a guy’s dick (obscurely but they didn’t hide it well enough). Who cares? People like sex. People like having sex with other people they find attractive.
