They certainly aren't false, unfortunately what's happened is that there are feminist groups and organisations out there who have utterly inflated the numbers with their own twisted 'definition' of sexual assault and rape which includes things like 'getting an uncomfortable stare' or 'having sex while drunk'. So in actual fact they're completely distracting from the real victims who actually have experienced rape and potentially making them more vulnerable.

The solution to stop this is the same as with any crime where you need to protect yourself, take some fucking responsibility, go out with friends so nobody can take advantage of you while you're alone. Take some self-defence classes or just exercise some basic common sense and don't perhaps drink drinks given to you by strange men and just be fucking careful. Other than that, crime is crime, humans are humans, the vast majority of people are not murderous psychopaths but if you ever do meet one the best thing you can do is be prepared to fight back, if you ask me what would be nice is to have some genuine clarity on self-defence laws because they are completely idiotic.

The problem with these stupid fucking consent classes as well as any other feminist driven initiatives is they're designed to place ALL of the responsibility on men and that's just not how real life works. Hell even with online dating the advice is to meet up in a very public place like a coffee shop or something, but I'm sure feminists will tell you that's victim blaming.

The world isn't one big fucking hug box and people who have spent their whole fucking lives within the education system including fucking teachers need to wake up and realise that because I swear whenever there's someone lecturing men it's always either a teacher, some sort of organiser within education or a student, or rather people who don't know what the real world is like.

The materials accompanying the new sexual-assault task force recycle the usual feminist claims about campus rape: an “estimated 1 in 5 women is sexually assaulted at college,” proclaims a White House press release. Such an assault rate would represent a crime wave unprecedented in civilized history. By comparison, the 2012 rape rate in New Orleans and its immediately surrounding parishes was .0234 percent; the rate for all violent crimes in New Orleans in 2012 was .48 percent. According to the White House Council on Women and Girls, “survivors” of this alleged campus sexual-assault epidemic “often” experience a life of depression, chronic pain, diabetes, anxiety, eating disorders, and post-traumatic stress disorder.

And yet, the crazed push on the part of mothers (and fathers) to get their daughters into this maelstrom of predation begins earlier and earlier each year. Parents in Manhattan pay tutors $200 an hour to prep their tots for the elite nursery school admissions tests, all with an eye to college. These are many of the same baby-boomer parents who refuse to vaccinate their children or feed them genetically modified foods based on wholly speculative risks. If the college experience were in fact the tsunami of violence that the feminists proclaim, leading to widespread emotional dysfunction—a dysfunction nowhere in evidence among increasingly dominant female college graduates—there would have been a stampede to create single-sex schools where girls could study in safety. Instead, college applications from girls rise each year, and the chance of admission at selective campuses drops further under the press of eager petitioners. At Yale alone, the target of an Obama administration Title IX probe into alleged indifference to rampant sexual assault, applications rose from 13,000 in 1996 to 27,000 in 2011. Somehow, word about Yale’s “unsafe” environment for girls is not getting out. Imagine, by contrast, that one in five college girls would merely have their iPhones stolen at knifepoint at some point during her college career.

Teach people to fight back, men and women alike. Make noise, attract attention, call the cops, say no as loud as often as you can. It has been shown to help stop rape in its tracks.

I'd add on that, although I'm not sure if I consider coercion to be rape, that it should be taught (to men and women alike) that guilt, shaming, and threats (threat of false report, divorce, not seeing children again, violence, etc) is abusive behavior and if someone does that to you maybe don't call the cops but quickly leave that relationship because it will only get worse from there.

Someone who has to threaten you to have sex with you is not someone who respects and cares for you. I don't mean, "Let's have sex", "I don't know I don't really feel like it", "Come on you'll be busy all day tomorrow..." etc. I mean "If you don't have sex with me you will never see your children again" where you CAN leave but at a possible future risk. That is not acceptable behavior, yet I've heard stories from men who put up with it because they didn't realize for a long time it was part of the abuse they were experiencing.

People need to take measures to protect themselves. Not drinking themselves into oblivion every weekend would be a start. You can't control what others do but you can control what actions and decisions you take.

Problem doesn't exist, campuses are safer than non-campuses. Statistics are being manufactured from flawed surveys and whole cloth.

Really though, nobody is against 'solving rape on campus', regardless of whether it's a big issue or a little issue. The complaint is that people are having their lives severely impacted or ruined based on kangaroo courts run by people with zero legitimacy to be running such things and the processes being used are horribly bad.

The solution is that crimes should be handled by the police. That's why we pay them. When somebody is convicted or pleads guilty, then expel them. The only role the Uni/College has is to make accommodations to both parties during the investigation/trial/what have you.

You want to reduce the number of rapes on college campuses? Stop calling consensual sex rape! It is really that simple. Take all the claims (regardless of whether they were reported to law enforcement, to the school, on social media or in a circle of friends) of campus rape and throw out all the ones that are actually consensual sex, and the number of rapes on campus is going to drop dramatically.

This isn't because women are intentionally lying or being vindictive in most cases. This is because consent classes are teaching women that regretted consensual sex is rape. It's because feminists are hearing of regretted consensual sex and convincing the poor girl that if she had truly consented, she wouldn't have regrets; so obviously what happened to her was rape!

The phrase "I didn't realize what happened to me was rape" should be eliminated from the English language. If a rape occurs, both parties involved ought to know damn well that it was rape whether they want to admit it or not.

And how do you make that happen? If someone is pursuing sex with you, and you don't want to have sex with them, make damn sure they know you don't want to have sex with them. How fucking difficult is that? Just say "no". Just say "stop". Just scream.

Will that stop all rapes? No. Some guys will ignore the pleas to stop and not care whether you want to have sex or not. They're just going to do it. And those guys are rapists and no one is going to deny that or defend them.

Please support your premise that this is a significant problem that requires a solution to be found. Understanding, of course, that any rape is a problem but we're never going to be able to stop all rapes.
