Pictured here are Jean-Paul Sartre (longtime sympathizer of communists) and Simone de Beauvoir in Beijing at the sixth anniversary celebrations of the Communists taking power in China. It was in 1956. She approved brutal Mao' rule and legitimized them!

She are also responsible for some sexual abuses!:

French author Bianca Lamblin wrote in her book Mémoires d'une Jeune Fille Dérangée (published in English under the title A Disgraceful Affair) that, while a student at Lycée Molière, she was sexually exploited by her teacher Beauvoir, who was in her 30s. Lamblin had affairs with both Jean-Paul Sartre and Beauvoir for a number of years.

In 1943, Beauvoir was suspended from her teaching position when she was accused of seducing her 17-year-old lycée pupil Natalie Sorokine in 1939. In June 1943 Sorokin's mother complained to the school authorities that Beauvoir had led her daughter astray. Beauvoir was accused of behavior leading to the corruption of a minor. Sorokine's parents laid formal charges against Beauvoir for debauching a minor and Beauvoir's license to teach in France was revoked. Sorokin later said her relationship with Beauvoir and Sartre came to an end when she found this relationship serving only one party.

Olga Kosakiewicz also joined the circle of de Beauvoir and Jean-Paul Sartre. She, along with Bianca Lamblin and Natalie Sorokin, later stated that their "trio" relationships with Sartre and de Beauvoir damaged them psychologically.

I want also to remind that she, as some other feminists, signed the infamous petition seeking to completely remove the age of consent in France.

Another examples of feminists associated with totalitarian regimes:

Alexandra Kollontai - the most popular bolshevik feminist. She supported revolution and she was building bloody tyranny system in Soviet Union.

Clara Zetkin - German feminist and communist who supported Soviet Union, even in Stalin era.

Angela Davis - American communist, longtime member of CPUSA. She was supporting the Soviet Union and its satellites. She has received various awards from them, including the Soviet Union's Lenin Peace Prize. Accused of supporting political violence, she has sustained criticism from the highest levels of the US government. In 1975, Russian dissident and Nobel laureate Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn argued in a speech before an AFL-CIO meeting in New York City that Davis was derelict in having failed to support prisoners in various socialist countries around the world, given her strong opposition to the US prison system. He said a group of Czech prisoners had appealed to Davis for support, which Solzhenitsyn said she had declined. In 1972, Jiří Pelikán had written an open letter asking her to support Czech prisoners, which Davis had refused, believing that the Czech prisoners were undermining the Husák government and that Pelikán, in exile in Italy, was attacking his own country. According to Solzhenitsyn, in response to concerns about Czech prisoners being persecuted by the state, Davis had responded that "They deserve what they get. Let them remain in prison." Alan Dershowitz, who also asked Davis to support a number of imprisoned refuseniks in the USSR, said that she declined because she did not consider them political prisoners. She also supported Peoples Temple - dangerous cult of Jim Jones in Jonestown. 14 months before the Temple's mass murder-suicide..

Logo of the Rote Zora

Finally, I want shortly mention about Rote Zora - feminist' terrorist organization, part of Revolutionary Cells supposedly supported by USSR and GDR security services (Stasi). I've made post about feminism terrorism here, I recommend read it because criminal and brutal face of feminism isn't commonly known, unfortunately.

Disclaimer: I don't want support right-winger nonsense that feminism is product of Marxism (it's debunked here and here). Feminism have more deeper origins but it's topic for another discussion. I only wanted to make people aware that very bad women are still recognized as important personas in feminist movement. I also dealt with the other side of the coin and I taken attention to feminists connection with fascism.
