I think i remember reading somewhere that while the Y-Chromosome has regressed a lot, at present, it’s stable or even if it disappears it wouldn’t be that the human race will be only made of women and would die off without technological intervention.

Also new research showed that embryos have both male and female reproductive tract until hormones take it towards being male or female.

Also fathers can pass mtDNA.
