Does it ever seem to anyone Or that in general we're heading towards something potentially bad?

Does it seem like things are starting to deteriorate between men and women more rapidly? I find it strange that the topic of the decline of marriage, how many men are checking out of the dating pool and the like is starting to become more mainstream. Then of course there is the growing political divide between men and women, the slew of social and economic issues, the crashing birthrate in the developed world and other political tensions- does it all ever seem like it's about to burst soon here?
