I hate that condescending sort of tone in the image. 'You should be offended because this is saying something bad about all evil men'. Um, I believe the advice that their referring to is meant to help protect people against rapists, not men. There is a difference. If anything, Feminists should be upset about the counter-argument that they constantly spew of 'teach boys not to rape'. All it's saying to women is 'you have absolutely no input in how the universe acts upon you, therefore nothing you do can keep you safe. If a man wants to rape you, he will, no matter what'. Isn't that more insulting and harmful to women by telling them that what happens to them is entirely up to what men decide to do or not do?

It's equality disease (everyone is "equal") taken to it's logical stupid conclusion.

Bad people exist. Some men rape women. Because some men rape women then therefore, because people are "equal", that means all men must be rapists.

When are we going to see the "teach mothers not to drown their kids in the bathtub" campaign? How about the "teach blacks not to steal" or "teach natives not to drink and gamble"?

I find the statement "teach men not to rape" as being far more condescending to men. It implies that men are naturally inclined to rape, and that this impulse can only be 'taught away'.

I think people just completely misunderstand that whole issue of telling "women to not dress poorly so they don't get raped." I think it's more of a defense technique because if a person is going to rape someone, they are going to rape someone, and I would guess that not walking around half-naked would decrease your chances of being raped.

It gets annoying when the assumption is that "all men are natural rapists and that we must control our urges, and that by women not dressing provocatively, we will lose all urge for raping them".

I love how some people emigrate from third world, poverty stricken theocracies (any guess which religion I'm talking about?)- bring ass about face logic over with them, and give "oppressed" women another argument to use against men..

Just deflects from the real problem at hand, poverty, and the oppression of women in the third world- perpetuated by organised religion.
