Some people need to have basic science training. Saying "I don't have evidence to support this position" does not mean that you automatically believe the opposite statement. It simply means "I don't know yet". In the case of law enforcement, disbelieving someone would mean not investigating their claims. As long as they are still working to prove honesty and prove guilt, they are not disbelieving you.

This reads like a narcissist laying the groundwork to be able to lie and get attention without any concept of personal responsibility.

You're not a liar until proven honest. You're a liar when the evidence doesn't corroborate. And the need for evidence arises only after you accuse someone of a crime. So, you initiate something, and you prove it.

Excuses, excuses. You are not fuckin special, you have to prove your claims in the court of law like everyone else. You can't just make a claim, wave your hand, and have someone carted off to prison. As if making a claim on social media, waving your hand, and turning someone's life upside down on just your word is not enough power. Get bent.

When your claim is that he is guilty, and you have to prove that he is guilty, yes you have to prove you are honest. It doesn't mean you're a liar if you can't, though. Plenty of things we can't prove even if we know them to be true, but some things require proof to take action against another.
