there was a trend not long ago about the "sassy man apocalypse" but it's not really about men being sassy. I made a post about how women make fun of men that ask for reciprocation in a relationship. they call them sassy.

women are so used to being coddled in a relationship that men asking for appreciation seems like too much effort for them so its easier to call them sassy. and they're not only called sassy for this, men are called this when they hold women accountable in a relationship.

the word sassy isn't the issue, but when women use it in this context it's supposed to be making fun of him, it's like them calling men princesses for asking for reciprocation in a relationship. it's supposed to be an insult, calling him sassy for articulating his feelings.
