They don't understand that when you generalize based on immutable characteristics, in this case gender.. when you make a statement that is implying specifically that "ALL" men are like this.. then yes.. you ARE including all the men who don't or never have done what you are accusing men as a whole of doing

And then they get mad when people say "Not All Men" and try to justify it with "Not all men but "MOST" Men" or some bullshit like that..

If feminists expect accountability from men, then I say we only start once feminists start holding women accountable for their misandry and other shameful actions..

The irony is that women most definitely do not control how other women behave and, more often than not, actually support each other in their own toxic or harmful behavior. You will also often see women enable the worst type of behaviors from other women. Hell, it's one of the primary foundations of feminism. Most women do not even hold themselves accountable for the power or privileges they possess over men, let alone hold other women accountable.

A naughty little reality about feminists is they can do absolutely nothing to enforce their own demands.

I’ve done a lot of team sports. I have never once observed nor heard anyone talking about rape in the locker room. I’ve barely heard anyone even talking about women.

Never had any friends accused of rape. Never heard a friend talking about drugging some girl. Getting her drunk to fuck her. I just hang out with beta nerds or something.

But they demand men do the work because that nasty little secret, that they can do nothing is a harsh reality.

They believe in their hearts that we get together and talk about the women we've beaten and raped. They think our friends confide things like that in us and that we can just call it out. So many of them have no men in their lives that they care about that they don't realize many of us have mothers, daughters, sisters, etc, and that in almost any group, a man who openly talks about raping women would probably be beaten up.
They think that men listen to other men because they, as women, are easily shaped and molded by peer pressure. If a man wants to rape someone, he's going to do it. He already knows it's wrong. That's like saying you could call Ted Bundy out. The man was a fucking sicko. He escaped from jail and instead of hiding out, he drew attention to himself by continuing to kill people with the same MO. So a good faith answer is that they see men collectively as promoting certain attitudes as ok/not ok. If your mates all laugh about treating women badly (whatever badly means in this situation), or not sticking up for women when someone says something like “they’re all whores” or “all women care about is money” etc it creates an othering and dehumanising of women. If that is the prevailing attitude then the general treatment of women will be negative.

Since “all men” participate in their own collective culture and shape the zeitgeist then it’s a collective effort. It used to be ok to slap your wife around, now it’s not. There used to be no such thing as martial rape… people’s attitudes have changed.

I think of it as a case of calling out shitty behaviour if we see it.

For example, I met my gf's godson for the first time, he's... 13ish I think? 11-13 for sure. Anyway, we were up in his room playing Fifa and he fouled me but it didn't get called. I jokingly complained and he said:

"You know why the referee didn't give that free kick? It's because (chuckles) she's a woman."

My very first instinct was to just blank that - he's not my kid, I've never met him before, it would be awkward to call him out. But after a split second I realised no, he needs strong male role models, and I knew for sure his dad would have been pissed at him for that so I just paused the game and looked at him and said "Dude. No. Not cool. Not funny. What would you feel if one of your friends said that about your mum?" And then I left it at that and we continued playing.

So yeah. Out on a night out and one of your mates wolf-whistles a girl or is being a pest? Call them out. Tell them they're being a dick. We can teach each other to better, and we can all learn to be better. That's not unique to being a man - it's just part of being a friend.
