For Australian aboriginals, rites of passage involve breaking one boy's tooth. For tribes on the Amazon, it involves scarifications for girls. Is this what we worth? Is this what defines us? Is this what we need?

I am a comitted father of daughters. However, I feel like hapiness or even its perspective is not for us. We are JUST the wrong guys, we have no right to complain, "a girl can be what she wants" and we remain closed onto our role of protectors and providers.

This is a shame, but today's climate of mistrust and false accusations against men makes us being so suspicious and avoidants to contacts with women. Even at my working place, my chief, who is a woman, told me "I advise you to never be alone with a woman who's not family for any reason, you never know."

Not tragic, but some days ago a female working colleague asked me to massage her back: we are buddies and it had nothing flirty, I know her for years and she's a pious muslim and never flirts with anyone. But we did heave some heavy furniture and her back really hurted, she was almost crying. But no matter what, I said "no": I have figured out all consequences if someone would have seen me massaging her back. Not to mention that she is 20 years younger than me. I would never ever touch a woman i…

1 - Do you believe if yours views on men’s rights were achieved, women and men would be happier? Yes. I am supporting perfect equality of rights between women and men. 2 - Do you believe in feminism, and do you understand the different “types” of feminism? I did, I don't do anymore. Feminism has become pure man-hate seeking priviledges for women and condemning men to eternal repentence, using equality when it suits the cause, and privilegdes when it suits the cause (positive discrimination, chil…

Monastic community of Mount Athos - Wikipedia

I'm not a religious, but a spiritual person. Decades ago, I went to Athos, Greece - a monastic autonomous state of 335 km2 (129 sq miles). It is reserved exclusively to men for more than 1000 years. The atmosphere is peaceful and serene, people come there to find themselves, some decide to stay, you are wined, dined and hosted for free. Most feminists in Europe are hysterical about this place where they can't enter. I can understand their frustration, but I'd like them to understand they find ok…

I do understand that ukrainian women also fear for their lives. In their place, I'll be the same. I just find that they don't have too much compassion either for the lives of their men. They find "normal" their men are sent to be butchered and that ukrainian women are received in european countries with the best regards and compassion. I know exactly what I'm talking about, I live in a european country who received a lot of ukrainian persons (mostly women). They find it natural and are very dema…

I am thinking at the country where I live, France. In WW1, millions (literally) of men died in order to get a region and a half from Germany. This region was German, then French, then German again... Both countries would treat the locals well, they just asked them to identify as A or as B. Now France and Germany are best friends (and it's good like this). Was it SO important to get this chunk of the Earth to a country rather than other to deserve the deaths of MILLIONS of men?

I put myself in their place. I am a peaceful guy, I haven't served because no service in my country. I wouldn't like to be sent to a place where I have great chances to die or to come back without an eye or a leg, for a conflict that will be forgotten by history books in decades when every involving part will become friends again and will forget why they were fighting. Even if it's a fair war of defense, sending thousands of unskilled and untrained pacific men to be killed for some stats or some…

Don't worry, women have the same capacities (and it's no sarcasm in what I'm saying). They want to lead? They'll lead. They want power? Let them have power. I want a little HUMILIATING unmanly job such as librarian or lighthouse keeper or gardner and be happy. I let women lead the society. I'm sure it won't be neither worse not best. I disagree, Japan is a society pushing to extremes competitivity and citizens' duties. Men are putting into depression and brought to knees by all pressure on them, and female partners can also be extremely demanding (and also extremely unhappy btw). The dynamics is the same. Japan is like a dystopia of our own (western) society, enworsed by confucianism and traditional values.

There's been a moment I have realized modern feminists don't love women: they just hate men. Western men. No compassion for female hostages to Hamas. No compassion for the tragedy of women in Iran who fight aside men for their freedom. No compassion for excised women in African countries. All what that bothers them is to deconstruct the toxic masculinity of the western guys and to talk inclusive!

If anyone ever talks to me about the "bear vs man" thing nowadays, I take it this way: - Most women prefer bears to women! - Yes, so what? - This means women think most men are rapists! - Yes, so what? - How can you be so insensitive? - What do you want me to do? Women can believe what they want. I'm no rapist, it's not my problem. - It's YOUR PROBLEM! You're a man! You should DO SOMETHING! - Like what? - I don't know, educate other men not to be rapists. - So how is this? I will ask other men: …

Be brave, mate. On my side I avoid like hell any circumstance where I could find myself alone with a woman and no cams. I know also that I can count with dozens of women friends who know that I'm a posed, polite, non violent person, but maybe this is sometimes not enough and I suspect they can change their mind too (like: "who would have believed he is such a jerk? There was a Black Mirror episode where an implant in people's eye allowed to record everything their eye saw to help police to solve criminal cases. I'm wondering if this is not the solution to prove one's innocence in any circumstance.

To me the worst aspects of this are (1) If a woman says you have abused her and it's in the news, no woman will factcheck, you're already guilty (2) If you're found not guilty, it's already too late and suspicion over your head will still flow like "yeah he remains suspect and maybe he bribed judges" (3) with such a collective guilt, some men don't even dare to date. Any woman can say you have forced her to do something. No proofs? She will be believed, not you. Imagine she involves into consent…

Because many of them think there are good issues and they want to support good issues. Because some of them ARE good issues (fighting against phisical abuse, right to work, right to abortion). I have quit the dating scene when I have realized most women have insane standards. This is their right and I respect this but I am not disposed to play this game anymore. The last one I've talked to was a lot older than me, overweight and depressed (but intellectually interesting). This is why I have asked AI to make this estimations in the situation where there were as much bears on Earth as men. Like, you are in New York and you cross every day 50000 men, what if you were to cross 50000 bears? Of course, there are less people killed in the world by the dragon of Komodo than by men, but this is because they are some dozens or hundreds stucked on an island. So come on, when female man haters say their estimations are based on statistics, it makes me laugh.

That's it. Men are sent to DIE or be mutilated, and those who will survive will be told once home to "deconstruct their toxic masculinity". Patriarchy is for women a safe ticket to have their lives spared. But they will say that having to wash the dishes is more horrible than to receive a bullet in the head. Women SHOULD serve in the army as men do (or nobody should). Such as in Switzerland and Israel.

Yes, this is happening right now. In Sweden, a country I know, they have castrated men to be 100% politically correct and obedient. Then they (women) complain about "where are all real men". And look who's here, the arab guy chad enough to pussycall them (because he can, it's in his culture and one must respect it), to ask them out, to grope them... like a real man. I agree with you on the principle, but can't you see the huge sword of Damocles over our heads? At any minute of our life, a woman that we know or even don't can say we have raped her, and our life is over. Unless we have providential proofs (like, we were 1000 miles away from her this day and we have plane tickets and so to prove it) we have no chance to prove our innocence. It depends what they understand by "feminism". I'd start with that. In real life, I have met lots of women who understand feminism in the good sense: being for equal rights and against violence on women. They are not woke at all, they just stick to the idea of being feminists because if today a woman says the contrary she is shamed at being biggot into traditional roles. Not the apps but the dynamics of them. Women feel they can overestimate themselves because society tells them so, and because they receive thousands of demands, and men are taught to shame themselves and they send thousands of likes and receive maybe 0,5% answers.

The true intentions of this story (being derogatory to men) lie in comments to posts about it. After two exchanges, "women who chose bear" become ad hominem. The intentions of the questions are visible in women's comments. It served just to say "men are dangerous to women". It could have also been formulated like "I'd rather eat shit than being alone with a man" or "I'd rather meet a green alien than a man". The morality of all of this is that women just want one thing: telling men that they are shit and whatever they do is wrong. This is 100% gaslighting. To post for the dozen time here: a mysandrist woman told be once: "we are not here for equality anymore, we are here for revenge".

To me, a woman who uses and abuses of constructions such as "toxic masculinity" is a huge red flag. I simply avoid them at all costs. I'm a divorced man and finding other partner is to me an alternative, not a must. A woman who believes men are inherently toxic and have something to work on themselves for the simple fact they are men is not a choice, is a hazard.

In our times girls are taught they are valuable, they can do what they want and be what they want. Men are taught nothing clear. They are talked about feeling ashamed about their male nature, but in real life they are HOWEVER expected to be alpha by EVERYONE, INCLUDING diehard feminists. So they are lost. Why are there so many boys wanting to transition? Because being a man sounds unbearable. You are the bad guy, you must be fragile but you must be tough, you must be all and its contrary. For wo…

Downvote me if you want, but this is our fault, not theirs, we would go even for a hole in the ground, while they are all waiting for Brad Pitt. I guess we should raise our standards and learn to accept to be alone rather than dating lower. Besides, this is a fact women don't need sex as badly as we do. This is absolutely correct. I can see this because I have teen daughters who are very openminded and with a great critical sense. What was my wake up call? Something in the way I was treated. Starting to be accused of wrongs I haven't done. The newspeech. The [white] man guilt. The suggestion that anything I do, I remain a man, so, guilty, so, inferior, so bad. The intersectional feminism who wants to force me to take stances for combats that are not for feminism, are not mine. In a way - all the woke dirt. It haven't made me a woman hater. I have made me a women's hate hater.

Men rights is not the only issue in one's life, and left-right definition is not the same in the US and in other countries. Well, woke feminism, who is majoritary today, doesn't search for fairness or justice. It wants to get women as much power as possible, or to be more specific, to take it from men. As any other woke components, it weights in eternal victimization, opportunism, eternal guilt, tribalism, aggressivity, refusal of dialogue, refusal of logic, gross generalization, cancellation, falsification of the past, brutality, newspeech. I guess most participants here see it the same. I would like to stress other…

It's curious but historically, for a lot the "real gay" was considered the passive guy. Starting with ancient Rome. A man, an alpha, screws everything, but if a man is passive is like an offence to the quality of man. So an active gay in some societies was ok, not the passive one. It's definitely stuff for socio-cultural studies, but there is like a distinction between the "alpha male" and the rest. This is maybe perhaps why society is even harsher with gay men than with gay women. I guess.

I am sure this is the case all around but there are countries who are harder for gay people (and gay men in particular) than others. Brazil sends a false image of mega tolerant diverse society. I have documented myself and learned that it's just a stereotype and a mask. I have a question for you about trans people, if you allow me: how come there are so many trans from Brazil? It's like 80% of world trans women come from two countries: Brazil and Thailand. Some told me that it's a way for some t…

I don't know about how this will go. I have the feeling that now it's harder for men because all discrimination, but that men will adapt and will find their way to live alone and provide for themselves, and that in general it's a lot harder for most women to be alone. So now they are enjoying their new priviledges in-between (exploiting both advantages from the old gender roled model and the new "egalitarian" (in fact, positive discriminatory towards them) one, but will come a time they will hav…

Dick is cheap and I pussy is expensive. This! Women are picky, most ones I know have insane expectations even if they have nothing to offer. My feeling is unconditional love is a nuisance in all cases. One should never accept everything and pardon everything. Once you do it, you become inferior, you start to lose self-esteem and you subconsciously encourage your partner to become a tyran to you. Nothing should be unconditional. Feminists don't know nuances. You're with them or against them. If a woman is anti-feminist, she's stupid, submissive, and accepts patriarchy having the Stockholm syndrom. If a man is anti-feminist... he's a women's hater. All men are.

If modern feminism were really into women's rights, they would priorize the situation of women in countries such as Afghanistan or Saudi Arabia. Instead, their fight is to gaslight men from western countries and "deconstruct" them - men that often are totally reasonable and don't hate anyone. I would ask myself if maybe I'm not wrong, but there are so much sensate women who told me that they are dishearted by "this kind" of feminism, that I think I am right.

Now you're jelous of the time he spends with her. Just let her go into the darkness. Let her learn from all the things there. Just let her go into the darkness. Let her go, let her go, let her go. You want tell that her that her boyfriends no friend You want to tell her she don't know where he's at She won't l…

I have spent hell with my ex the latest year of our marriage, but once we went divorced, she never tried to turn our children against me. That's why we are still in a very cordial relation. Because we feel honest, interest of our children prevail and despite wounding differences, we do know each of us are good persons.

To be honest, I am a so-so lover. I have provoked to some women amazing organsms and to some others, not at all. In exchange, I can say that almost no one cared about MY orgasm. My sex sessions my whole life were like "let's try and satisfy her" with starfishes waiting to... be satisfied and concentrated 100% on their pleasure, and in the end (whatever I did or not procure them pleasure) realizing I exist, like: "Oh? THIS, I have forgotten" and starting to jerk me strong in the hope to make me e…

As a man, thank you for your honest thoughts. I was not thinking at them from this perspective (which can be absolutely valid) - I just felt so many times completely rejected, no matter how hard I tried, no matter how kind and openminded I was, any of my opinions having met with "shut up you're a man, go and reconstruct". So even if I was feminist for a lifetime, now I'm not anymore. I retire from the race. Too much hate. Too much man hate. And my best women friends think like me.

I had a very weird female platonic friend who told me that she estimates that only guys to her standards should DARE to look at her on streets. That the "ugly ones" should just turn off the head or look down. I know it sounds unreal but yes.

Yes, you are right. It's either being an opportunist, either taking things for granted, either being in a position of classic gender roles (when it suits her).

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, double standards are a disaster. I am not a stupid pansy mensrights woman hater and ready to acknowledge and criticize all shit men did and do to women in certain societies and social strata, but let's face it, in western countries there is a blattant woman priviledge who also span on abuse - women can say what they want do what they want they will be always right and will be always trusted, even without evidence. Imagine a scene: in a crowded metro, a woman sandwit…

"In their teens most women are sexually abused by older men" and our discussion stops here. A woman might think she is entitled can make any shameless generalization with no evidence, just because. The comparison is not weird. Because making such statements is a form of discrimination against men. It cast terrible accusations against them with no proofs. It establishes an a-priori guilt. And terrible stereotypes. No wonder the best, most empath and yet independent women I know, who think with th…

Good luck bro. Sweden is other fish to fry, take care. Local men generally are so traumatised that they must to be dead drunk to go and flirt a woman in a night club. They have been so "educated" to "deconstruct their toxic masculinity" that they don't even dare to raise the eyes to a woman in the street. In exchange, refugees from Middle East do it, catcall, grope and all stuff. So swede women go like oooh our men are just pussies, look at this alpha syrian guy, a real man oooh omg I'm getting …

Horrible. But see (to answer the previous OP): this is the first time in my life I hear about such things. The profile of your country and what I've read about it makes me believe you. But in the country where I live (France) this is unthinkable. Yet again, I am extremely sorry for what happened to you. We are here to exchange, learn and become aware of stuff like this.

Maybe I don't know what I am talking about. I've told you, my father was a victim of domestic violence. I can believe this shit may happen in many households. I ignore into how many. As for me, I have been bullied and gaslighted by my spouse for year ,but never at a physical level. Outside of home, I have lived only two micro agressions from females - in 49 years. Hold your horses. Everyone is talking from a personal perspective and local culture. What is true for a country is false for other. D…

Disheartening. I need to vent about a story: when I was student in college in my native Eastern European country, we had a female professor who was nymphomaniac. We didn't figured out, SHE recommended herself as so, and told us she is hot and non monogamous and that in her life she fucked "more than a hundred men, some women and some students" (lol). She was smoking in class despite being illegal and told us that if there is some anti-smoker among us they can fuck off and change class. One of my…

It IS hard! My brother in law was a teacher and he had nightmares about a pupil one day opening his mouth and say, "my teacher asked me to show him my cock". It doesn't matter there is no proof. It doesn't matter the child is a patological liar. It doesn't matter your police record is pure and you are anything but a pedo. It doesn't even matter that you are found innocent and the kid will retract. Your reputation will be stained for ever, no parents will accept their children to be in your class…

What a coincidence! My best friends are female and autist/asperger/neurodivergent!!! We have no secrets and talk a lot. Sometimes I get almost scared when I see how they are talking about other women. It is rabid jalousy, the are happy when the others fail, if they got fat, if they made a blunder. They are a lot more wicked with other women than with men. The typical scene: "oooh dear nice to see you!!! You look lovely back from holidays, and what a lovely dress" (after she's out) "that bitch is…

No. Female friendships are often sneaky and insincere. Female are extremely jealous of other women (which hardly exist in male friendship) and may be backstabbers. My best friends are female, and I have the feeling that a platonic friendship man-woman is the best thing (and YES, it can exist, even if there is sexual attraction, once you decide to friendzone someone it's ok; for me, at least).

I second you to that. My mother and my wife caused me a lot of wrong, but also my bests platonic friends are women, who gave me huge support, were empaths to me and we exchanged during years with compassion about our problems, just being happy to help the other reconstruct emotionally.

All people around me asked me loud to supress my emotions since school. My parents, my teachers, other boys, the girls. Boys don't cry, they don't confess. I had spent the last 10 years of my marriage before divorce in an absolute mutism of my wife who wanted to discuss ONLY about children and household - because she didn't need anything else so if I wanted to talk about how I felt she ghosted me or screamed at me. I needed to talk to somebody so I have made some platonic friends on facebook and…

I've gotten through the same process. My ex wife simply destroyed me as an individual. Transformed me to a secondary role in someone else's life. Dismounted my ego so completely that it took me more than a year to recover. I lost so much self esteem that if anyone else told me I'm a good person or simply sent me a message to ask me how I went, I was so thankful that I felt like crying. Now anytime I try to date a woman I grow immediately suspicious and run away.

Blame it on the bots. Men being lonely predates AI. At least AI girlfriends will increase their moral and help to cope with depression. The miss is worried that men will refuse to accept ANYTHING from a woman like they do today. That the AI girlfriend will become a serious alternative to get through life and make men more selective (as women are). That women would be forced to make more efforts to attract men. That if a woman makes a one meter list of how a man should be, this one will show her …

Funny because it's true - I used to explain to rabid woke feminists my ideas politely and with arguments and at a moment they started to call my "fragile male ego" and my need to "deconstruct my toxic masculinity". I have switched to the dark side (at 49yo after being an herbivorous man - it's never too late) and now I answer mostly with "fuck off". Or similar, slightly more polite. It's strange, they don't call me names anymore.

I am sorry, I find it extreme. I ignore your reality and I am not a male refugee. I can't possibly imagine hoards of women attacking refugee males. But the other way around, yes. Maybe I'm ignorant, but being for men's rights doesn't mean saying in all circumstance men are victims of women. Refugee men are to me 20% okayish and 80% scum. Men who downvoted me, downvote me as much as you want if it make you feel good.

My mother hitted my father numerous times before he died (he never did that to her), in any possible way (slaps, fists, foot kick in stomach). Even when he was on his deadbed - that's why I just wait to see her dead and throw her ashes in toilet and flush. She tried to hit me too as an adult but I stopped her. I think any violence is abusive. But if a woman hits you and there's no way to reason or stop her, just punch her in the face. I have never done this, but I think it would be deserved as s…

Ok I'm a man and against woke feminism and this case is very un-okayish. On the other side, I'm sorry to say it - justice has to be given but it's a drop in an ocean. A worrying percentage of male refugees are retarded predators, rapists, abusers, who are offended they come in other culture and people eat pork, drink alchohol, women are free. Those who are ok with these things should be ok and accepted to integrate. Those who don't should be immediately deported back to their place of origin. An…

I slightly disagree. I am myself into (unsuccessful) dating, but people are what they are and we can't blame them if they are more selective or else. Myself, I don't care a woman is obese or promiscuous but want her to be independent, funny, not sticky and not into life comittment and toxic monogamy. I can just say dating is difficult because some people want the Earth, and I am one of them. I find 90% of women sexually attractive, but only 10% of them attractive by their mind and soul, and that…

Based. Women say men who don't want to die being butchered are cowards and traitors. Then they run as refugees to Western countries where they are treated with compassion and people offer them jobs and treat them nicely, while the poor guy who maybe is a geek or a pianist is sent to fight warlords, and he losts a leg or an eye or his life. Then once in the West, those women will learn to scream at men to stop mansplaining and to deconstruct their toxic masculinity. At least in countries like Isr…

I am 100% against circumcision but I think the comparaison with women is useless and flawed. Female genital mutilation is not the equivalent of circumcision, but castration. It has no medical "excuses", the sufferance is terrible as well as the risks and women lose the capacity to orgasm. So nothing to do with women here, just to fight against male circumcision. The only reference to women is that some shame uncut men to push them to circumcise and this is as unacceptable as any shaming.

Yeah this must happen in lots of couples. My partner always considered that if she doesn't want sex, I should respect it, but if she does, even if I am not in the mood or tired and don't want or don't get erected, I HAVE TO, otherwise she feels deeply offended. Also in bed she does absolutely nothing and expects me to "satisfy her". She said it is out of question to change this. For all of these, our sex life is dead (to her, of course, it is only my fault) and we just hate each other, still liv…
