This is my first submition so please be gentle. I am a seventeen year old and I have two loving divorced parents. For years I have seen my mom get more time with me (nothing substantial). I have friends that are in the same position as I am but they have parents that HATE each other. I am constantly reminded that the mother has the final say. It takes two to make a child but society lets the woman dictate custody, the name of the child, the school he/she goes to, or were he/she lives. Men are always reminded to hold the door open for women , pumping gas, etc. Men are punished more severely for crimes involving sex. Many Male school teachers have gotten very harsh sentences for crimes that barley scrape harassment. Women teachers can have sex with a student and get house arrest. I know I am ranting right now, but I have one more point. I know that men are stronger than women. But when a woman decides to hit a man and beat him, when the police arrive the cops just separate them and ask if the aggressor can stay with anyone else for the night. If a man so much as slaps a woman he is taken in for assault. I just think society needs to treat Men more fairly. We always talk about how woman are being treated unfairly, what about the Men.
