I was thinking today about a man I saw at the rave, in milwaukee, WI. He was ejected (which means pummeled and thrown out) of the club during a show as I was walking in. I do think it's probable that he was acting up. But what happened next nobody deserved but is telling of the male-female difference in treatment.

This guy was drunk as a skunk and thrown on the curb. I was amazed at how gone he was because he couldn't even bring himself up off the ground. His clothes were half off. shirt was riding off of his shoulders and pants down to his knees. He just laid there. The place was more crowded than a football game because Korn was playing. Easily 100 people surrounded us as maybe a third of them took their phones out to record this. You might think because they wanted to get back at the club owners for this treatment but many of them were laughing. The guy laid there looking like he had the wind knocked out of him because he was gasping for air. Nobody helped him.

Edit: yea I was 18 yo, can't remember what happened after that. Would like to think I helped the guy. I'm not into displaying myself as some Pinnacle of righteous action. This post was merely to demonstrate what is/isn't acceptable by most people on the street.
