I was raped and physically abused throughout my childhood by my mother, it happened because my father divorced my mother, so my mother grew hateful towards men and took it out on me, but not my sister, so my sister also acted aggressively towards me. My father was unable to take custody, because my mother was very manipulative. And he died in a car accident a couple years after. When i was 16 my mother passed away and i was put into a foster care, and she never faced her crimes. As an adult, i have encountered multiple situations where i was being used along with multiple other guys at a single time, and other situations where my voice was shut down or reversed back onto me because i was a man. And i fell into alot of loneliness and suicidal issues.

So it really upsets me when people say that sexism towards males doesnt exist or is justified. Ive even had individuals say women dont rape at all, and had no backlash whatsoever. Sure it isnt prevalent much as misogyny, but that shouldn’t give an excuse to say its deserved. Violence with women against men due to sexism does exist, and it shouldn’t be justified just because of whats in your legs. We should fight for both genders to be equal to each other without bashing the other. Even if one gender is more prevalent in sexism than the other, oppression and silenced voices is bad no matter what.
