I dont know why I'm even going to school anymore... I believe I posted on this community about the incident regarding what happened during my global perspective class, but shit just keeps getting worst. There's always been a Moral Education class for some time, decent enough until the syllabus began focusing on women's right for a whole chapter. Interestingly, this is the chapter that our teacher decides to spend the most time on, its been 1 month and it seems like my teacher loves it alot. It covers all from how women are discriminated against ya know, in work places (even if majority of work place deaths are male), how they are 'constantly' domestically abused (even if data and evidence suggest this happens to males more as covered on a post on Men's Rights) and how they are paid less for the same job, the wage gap. (which has been debunked by some usage of common sense) this is the standard of education now.. and i believe the teacher may be ellaborating on her own for stuff that i cant seem to find in the books... One of my friends raised his hand and asked her what about the rate of male homelessness and work place deaths, and she brushed it off by literally saying "not important" and getting right back to it. The shitty thing is there are good girls in my class too, many of them who would have agreed with my buddy there but probably not anymore, many of them seem to be buying this shit. Needed to rant away from the cafeteria table... just wanted to give u some insight into the kind of stuff we're learning about. Yes, women once couldnt vote, now they can. Once, they didnt receive education now they are encouraged by discouraging the boys, those issues are rather miniscule in present times and many of these statements and claims in the present curriculum is plain incorrect.
