Oh right, because "gender equality" really means "Support women until they are in the dominant position"

What are the starting packages?

Starter kits for women in permanent academic positions in male-dominated areas.

Let's just not mind that male-dominated can be stretched to mean anything from 51% male to 99% male, and sometimes even be used alongside the apex fallacy to mean places where men are less than 50% of the staff. (For example, it has been claimed that primary education is male dominated because men make up a slight majority of higher-level administrators and principals, despite making up less than 12% of total staff.)

Let's also ignore that the push for women in hard science is because it's seen as a prestigious career; shown alongside other pushes for women in respected careers like military service, firefighting, police work, higher politics... but especially shown when compared to other "male dominated" careers like trash collection, sewage working, construction working...

And god forbid anyone mention that permanent is an insouciant term when regarding women's careers. In fact, lets definitely not mention that in the next section.

The scheme is limited to institutions where the proportion of women among tenured faculty members is less than 20 percent. It can be applied for operating and equipment funds and salary for research assistance. The maximum amount is NOK. 300 000 [USD: ~$49,000]

So, we do not want to mention that women, by their own personal choices, trend and tend towards dropping out the workforce to obtain work-life balance satisfaction. Which would be a hell of a thing to bring up regarding "permanent" up above (which carries the connotation of "work until retired"), but especially moreso to bring up regarding women's tenureship, as why women might make up less than 20% of tenured staff in some places when it takes many years (sometimes decades) of consistent, committed effort and labor to earn tenure.

Interestingly enough, on average 40% of female higher education staff reach tenure, compared to 65% of male higher education staff. This cannot be applied to all cases equally, of course, but especially when accounting for "tenure is affected by working, therefore dropping out early means no tenure", that shows startlingly high parity.

Admittedly, it says nothing about the raw numbers (Could be 5 professoras, 2 of which reach tenure, to 1000 professors, of which 650 reach tenure), but it strongly indicates that when women work for tenure like men, they receive it at approximately the same rate as men.

Female scientists. You can offer female scientists. "Woman scientists" just sounds weird. Female is the correct gender-description for that sentence, it isn't a dirty word. Sheesh.
