I keep seeing so very many posts that link directly to clickbait instead of an archived article: THIS TRAFFIC IS ENCOURAGING ANTI-MRA BS and the like.

Yet we bother with the automod bots for the non participation links? I'm no tech genius but how hard could it be to design a bot that would, upon ANY link posted, immediately comment with an archive link to said page, to deny clickbaiters & haters the traffic?

I just have gotten sick of seeing the sub seem to encourage traffic to promoters of misandry & hate while seeing interesting cross-posts get automoderated to oblivion because they dared link back to reddit ... without using the non participation... -- that sort of thing should be done with every single non-archive outside-of-reddit link posted before worrying about within-reddit linking... Just my two-cents. Pardon the rant.

[edit: I'm aware the example I used of interesting post getting automodded was reposted rather than oblivion-ed, but the general principle is still relevant, especially when contrasted with the clickbait-traffic issue, & that was what motivated this post.]
