A. Many of the ideas thrown out in this video about what men want or contribute aren’t based on any objective studies.

Many studies confirm that in a majority of marriages, the husband is the primary breadwinner, so the idea most all men insist on 50/50 simply isn’t true. Most men provide more than 50%
Several woman stated that in 50-50 marriages, men are unwilling to offer non financial help such as house chores, home maintenance, etc., which again isn’t true. Studies which show women do more house chores reflect men are working more as a trade off, they aren’t comparing husbands and wives who work equally and often omit yard work and home maintenance which men tend to do more. So again, these women are stating things about men not in evidence.

B. It’s feminists who pushed the idea women should be more self sufficient, and it’s feminism that’s been pushing to disadvantage males in education, job hiring and business ownership, making it harder for men to support women, so if women don’t like that, they should be criticizing feminism, not men.

I don't have time to watch the video now but the premise is either click bait or flat out stupid.

Neither men nor women "should" do anything based on their sex.

calling someone “beta” or claiming they have “low testosterone” for wanting 50/50 is wild. I can’t take her serious. You’re not better (or worse) for being more traditional in relationships. Same goes the other way round.

Women fought to enter the workforce and for "equal rights" but now they hold American men with contempt because men expect them to split the load. At the same time, they want men to pay all the bills while he does half, if not more, of the chores.

What's also interesting is that domestic abuse in Russia is insane. In some Russian oblasts, there aren't laws against domestic abuse so if a Russian man pummeled his wife he isn't doing anything legally wrong, whereas in 50/50 US, you'd be held liable because American men see things in a more egalitarian way (50/50 is a part of that)

That said, those women can move to Russia if they want.

Cultures are different. There are many gold diggers/users in North America and/or women who flat out wouldn't reciprocate with traditional values. I always insist on 50/50 if we're both reasonably well off.

Whether men should be the breadwinners or not is an irrelevant matter when a lot of men can’t even do so despite their desire to do so

And the fact that we have have an economic crisis and health care crisis and having a hard time keeping up with rent groceries utilities healthcare gas etc
