I'd thought to post this here about an hour ago but forgot so here goes...

Today about an hour ago a guy going door to door soliciting for Plan Canada, you should know them for Because I'm A Girl. Guy comes to the door asking for donations and i basically said no due to gender discrimination.

I know Plan Canada does other charities in 3rd world countries but i refuse, totally refuse to back a charity that throws one gender under the bus while promoting another and have gotten afew businesses to not deal with such charities.

I even asked the guy (knowing full well he'd neither know nor care) if a boy's version of BecauseI'mAGirl would be created and obvioudly he said no and it didn't work that way. I've stopped giving to charities cause theres just not enough out there that give majority of donations to the children they promote.

Which charities are actually worth whole to donate to ?
