The Texas teen suing his local district for punishing him for his hair length is suing. The update is that the district wants the case dismissed now that he has graduated.

In some Texas and other local public school districts, they have unfair and unreasonable hair length restrictions for male students.

These policies often disregard religious, spiritual, racial and family traditional reasons for males having long hair. One school official even sent the police to a boys house to determine if he was actually a member of the native American church (who are legally exempt from the policy)

Most families do not have the money to sue, so just go along with it And those parents who cant afford regular haircuts? Oh the teacher will just give him a rough haircut in front of the class like in one particular case.

Male hair length can apparently legally be restricted for males of public school age unless they have the money to go to a private school unless the courts finally rule otherwise.

And dont get me started on those saggy pants which are still illegal in some places.
