The context of this was someone defending seaworld when asked if all orcas had the potential to kill trainers.

She's doing it rhetorically to point out that it's as ridiculous an assumption as saying all males are potential rapists.

Whether or not you agree with her stance on the dangers of captive whales, there is literally NOTHING here for us to be upset about.

If you take the statement solely on its own merits, at face-value, it appears to just be pointing out the obvious; basically, it's a meaningless thing to say (in terms of substantiating any sort of point).

Everyone, female and male, has the potential to be a rapist, lol.

It's kind of like saying: "Apples have the potential to be eaten!"

Yeah, and so do pretty much all other fruits.

Ain't nothin' new or profound or useful about these assertions, in any context; they are simplistic observations of the self-evident.
