He was an asshole. I didn't research the Weinstein thing myself. I understand your position of confusion as we don't ever get the real unedited story out with the way the media is.

Weinstein is charged with one felony count each of forcible rape, forcible oral copulation, sexual penetration by use of force and sexual battery by restraint. On April 10, 2020, Weinstein was charged with sexual battery by restraint against a third victim, related to an incident in 2010.

Offering money or help is not rape, that’s just gross. But he forced himself onto women, that’s why he was convicted.
