It comes across as just another editorial subtly, or not so subtly, denouncing masculinity. Hardly a surprise coming from a site that titles itself "Matriarchal Blessing" and whose slogan is "Catharsis for your feminist awakening".

Male flight describes a similar phenomenon when large numbers of females enter a profession, group, hobby or industry—the men leave. That industry is then devalued.

Oh, those poor women are being underpaid - AGAIN.

But Lincoln’s research found that “men and women are equally affected by tuition and salaries.”

If men are fleeing, and since they apparently want a high salary, where are they fleeing to? The author doesn't provide any reasonable answers.

They mentioned that there is one subset of men who out-enroll women. Which subset might that be?

Gay men.

Now all those women who complain about oversexed younger males need to be silent since, apparently, straight young men are avoiding what to them would be a "target rich environment".

What if the cost outweighs the benefit? What if a degree or a trade school license isnt worth the paper its printed on? What if its a fools errand to get into that much debt for a job that will never pay high enough to break even? Or at least it is perceived that way, or the asumption that it's too expensive and the income isnt breaking even with the debt
