We all know if given a choice people would generally decide to save a woman's life over a man's. I was wondering if anyone is familiar with any study or survey where people were asked in a hypothetical situation if they had the opportunity to save one woman's life or X number of men, what the consensus threshold would be. Would society rather save 1 woman's life over 5 men? 8? 100? Would the numbers generally reflect the current occupational fatality statistics?
