You can feel how you want to about being cut, but that isn't an excuse for strapping babies down and cutting their genitalia.
The foreskin of boys may be tight until after puberty. Phony phimosis diagnoses in boys is not uncommon.
Z-plasty, Y-V plasty, and preputioplasty are surgical options which don't remove tissue.
Alternative treatments for phimosis are effective.

It might have been your decision, but that doesn't change the fact that there are other surgical options which cause none of the harm that circumcision does.
Bullshit. There are plenty of men who were cut as infants and understandably upset about it. Religion is not a logical justification for cutting off parts of people's bodies. Would you say that castration or female genital mutilation for religious reasons is reasonable?

Just look it up. Even if it's not widespread now, where do you draw the line? Why is circumcision allowed when FGM and castration aren't?

Like I said, I don't care about how you feel. But most Jews and Muslims are cut as children, and they had no choice in the matter. It's basically branding children and forcing religious membership on them, at their most vulnerable stages.
I was cut as a child because I was born into a Muslim family, and I'm not all happy about it.

I am because of religion. Why do people suddenly hate that?
[+]PositiveIntentions1 points [recovered] (4 children) | Copy Link
Because you're cutting off a part of someone's body for no good reason. Religion isn't a valid defense. Your religious rights end where another person's body begins.
The foreskin is one of the most sensitive parts of the penis. It has several functions.

Yeah but I myself couldn't give a fuck (even tho religion is a hoax) and you simply cannot comment on how a religion should act because you feel it should be that way.

Human rights are more important than religious rights.
Seriously? You do realise that this can be used to justify anything, from FGM to rape?

Circumcision doesn't really "solve" anything either. How does it "fix" phimosis? By removing the foreskin and all the sensation it imparts.
