I do junior firefighting. We were doing ladders; they are about 75 lbs. Me and this girl got paired up. At first it was fine, but then she started struggling and dropped it and fell. I told her it was okay and to take her time and that I could carry most of it, but then she started crying, and her friends started looking at me like, I did something wrong. They asked, “What did you do to her?” And “Did you push her?” Without even knowing the full situation, I literally carried the ladder and comforted her. I don’t know why her friends said I did something; they literally hate men. They have literally said it.

Her friend literally got mad at me because she sprayed perfume on me, “Apollo, do you want me to spray some perfume on you?” I said yes, and she did then her friend came over and told her, “He likes you.” I’m literally gay, and the girl that sprayed it on me said I was gay as well, but it’s like this every class…. This is why I stay away from them, and the other guys do as well (not all the girls, just those 3).
