The real trap is something like this:

Guy: "Oh you guys like equality, mind if we join up?"
Femo: "Sure!"
Guy: "You know, fathers are treated pretty unequally in div..."
Femo: "Err, what are you doing?"
Guy: "I'm just pointing out some inequality affecting men"
Femo: "That's not how it works. Only we can raise inequalities, and we'll only do so about things affecting women"
Guy: "But that doesn't seem very equal!"
Femo: "Too bad. Men have had it so good for so long its time they suffered a bit. And of the tiny, tiny percentage of the population that are CEOs of really big companies, over 90% are still men!"
Guy: "But that doesn't make much sense. Can I go start my own group to discuss these issues with other men?"
Femo: "No, we'll just say you hate women"
Guy: "FFFFFFUUUUUUUUUU!!!"

That's what the article was saying, right? That the feminist movement isn't the correct framework for dealing with men's rights issues, and people who want to focus on said issues should go off and focus on them? Because I feel like I've been saying that for a decade and getting nothing but resistance from both sides.

This flowchart is incomplete. It is not just primarily about women, it is all about women. Your concerns or thoughts as a man, about anything to do with men and mens issues, are nothing to do with advancing women and womens issues.

If you want to talk about men or mens issues, you are not a feminist.

Dont buy any of the bullshit, that the MRM is invalid, and if men want representation, they should seek it through feminism. This is the feminist trap, they'll gladly use you as cannon fodder while dismissing your representation as "what about the mens" so dont waste your time like this chump.

I plan on citing that article everytime someone gets mad at someone for not identifying as a feminist.

Saying you are not a feminist doesn't mean you are against gender equality!
