Tell the women to stay away from that stupid club, not only if the teacher clearly a scumbag but women's only self-defence is a very bad idea and ironically by actively discouraging men from joining women there are not going to be able to go up against the builds of men who might actually attack them out in the real world and see if their techniques really work.

Purely from a pragmatic perspective as well I really have my doubts on that teacher having any kind of proper training especially if they're generically calling it a 'self-defence club'. What style do they practice? How many years have they been training? Do they even have an instructors' qualification? ( Yes that's a thing in martial arts ) and are they even a member of an association? ( Yes that's also a thing ).

If the teacher can't answer any of these very simple questions then the whole school should just boycott them and find lessons elsewhere.

I've trained numerous martial arts as well as boxing and women's self defence is a complete joke.

Although this is a good post, the title does not say enough about its subject. This forces people to click and read before they can decide whether they are interested. It also makes searching impossible.

If everyone did this, the subreddit would become unusable.

So please don't do it in future. Take the time to describe your link, and save the time of hundreds of other people.

When making a title, it's best to assume the reader doesn't know what you're talking about - but don't go overboard with every detail. Then check if there are any words you can cut out without losing any important information.

teacher explicitly said that it was to help women against the "sexual predator men" (not sexual predators in general) that teacher says make up most of the Male population.

Get a group of parents to make a formal written (email is fine) complaint to the school. Complain about the claim most males are sexual predators, and ask for a source.

For a counter-source, David Lisak's studies on college rape suggest most of the raping is done by a smallish portion of men who are repeat rapists. (10% or less, I don't recall).

And that those men do not see themselves as rapists, which is why they were happy to describe their activities so long as the word "rape" is not used in questions.

I actually feel very uneasy around large groups of "minorities" because I am seen as a bully and a predator which makes them on edge.
This needs to find balance quickly or terrible stuff will probably happen really soon!

Why would terrible stuff happen really soon? Black people have been feeling like that and much worse for hundreds of years in the US. Why is it such a calamity if some white men get to feel a small part of that themselves? Would that be an offense against the natural order?

Are white men God's Chosen People, who must be given special exemption from the hurt feelings other groups have always had to put up with or else the White Men Resistance will start throwing super tantrums with automatic weapons to restore their rightful privilege over women and minorities?

What’s wrong with women creating their own self defense class? You do realize almost every school has male and female defense classes? This is nothing new.
