Hey guys I want to start off by saying I really am enjoying this sub, im shocked at the lack of toxicity here (honestly mind blown). Everyone can voice their opinion.

TLDR/disclaimer: I used to like TRP ideology but as ive grown ive learned its a little far fetched and there is a middle ground that is more realistic. I am happily in a relationship of 2 years with a loving and caring genuine girl that I can see lasting. Tinder is demoralizing for men, I cannot speak for women.

In my early 20s I used tinder sporadically for years up until I met my girlfriend. Personally I can be kind of an asshole but when it comes to women I have had classic virtues instilled in me by my father, who always treated my mom with respect. I have always been respectful to women, never a “player” or what have you, what I mean by this is if I wanted sex I would treat them well and offer dates and genuine connection.

I was never successful on tinder for this reason. In my experience, girls on tinder are adverse to that type of behavior unless they actually want to date you. Dont get the wrong idea, im no “nice guy”. Im a recreational steroid user and I look much better physically than most guys, which women dont really give a shit about by the way (looking at you TRP). Big shoulders big chest, veins shredded.

In the years I used dating apps I learned that successful strategies are treating women like shit. Ive talked to girls at my school, my gf, and friends and they all have stories about how they were abused by a guy on tinder or treated like shit. In that sense, TRP is correct at least as far as tinder is concerned.

I had many dates on tinder but probably slept with like 10 girls from tinder maybe 15 in the 3-4 years that I used it.

The girls who frequent tinder would ghost me, play games, and were in general just some awful toxic people that left me wondering if I was the crazy one.

Now I’m not a woman, so I will not make any judgements for the female side of things. But, from what ive heard from girls I know, their side of tinder is just as bad. The selection of guys is toxic man babies that are manipulative.

I think its safe to conclude that the whole system is a negative feedback loop that creates these unrealistic and antisocial behaviors in guys and girls.
