I know it's not been long since our last meta-discussion, but it seemed to go well so I'll just throw this out there:

Is is odd to anyone else that many of the recent posts seem to be asking the same question slightly re-worded? I don't mind re-hashing a current hot topic, but these posts asking simplistic questions like 'what's good about men/women?' and 'would you be ok if your partner cheated/lied/is a gold digger?' ...Do these seem like dead-end discussions to any one else? What is being taken from questions like these besides the obvious 'yes, men and women have value, and no, people generally don't like being lied to, etc.'?

I don't mean to cause offense if I mentioned your post, and i do enjoy the posts asking opinions once in awhile. I guess I'm just tired of the many, many opinion-based questions that seem fairly obvious and get us nowhere, IMO at the very least.

So, what does PPD think of the quality of the most recent posts? Do you see them as substantive and furthering the debates or no? What sort of posts mentioned or not mentioned would you like to see more or less of?
