It's just another round number that looks cool to people who either care more about status than relationships, or just are using common vernacular to express the common preference for physically imposing partners.

It's a nice neat number and most men don't match it. That's it.

In countries that use metric system it's usually 180cm(which is 5'11", again just because it's a neat number that most men don't match.
