The opinion of anyone age 40+ as it pertains to dating today is as completely and utterly useless as my expertise on nuclear physics.

If it's with someone you have a strong emotional connection with, it is the best pleasure life has to offer

We are, it's just a lot more competitive/difficult to do so. Being your run of the mill average joe earning 60k a year isn't going to cut it anymore. If you go into medicine, law, or big tech you can absolutely still be a provider. But personally, I think that the provider concept is antiquated and dual income households are the way to go, it makes retiring early much more viable, and frees up money to spend on non-necessities that improve quality of life. The women that do want a traditional "p…

(Most) of the juice ain't worth the squeeze. Hard to find a good woman, requires a lot of time & effort to find, and sifting through a lot of low quality ones
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/25 11:57 PM

Women don't need a dating strategy/philosophy. AWDTSG is just a place for undesirable women to congregate. Also, don't think for a second that you can trust humans to be honest. Men lie. Women lie.

I haven't changed my flair in years but I chose red because it aligns more closely with what I believe than blue pill does. Certainly does not mean I agree with everything in trp. But that's besides the actual point of the thread.

Atrocious argument. All you did was lump all men into a monolith and then try to argue that some men being pricks or committing crimes equates to misandry. Bad people are bad towards all people, irregardless of whether it's a man or woman on the receiving end of their actions. The only misandrist men are white knights who try to portray all men as morally reprehensible, rapists, violent ect...

It is not the equivalent of redpill like some comments in this thread state. FDS is/was unironically a femcel community for undesirable women.

This sounds like the sort of friendship I had with a girl when I was like 14 years. This was not a serious relationship, and you both have a lot of maturing to do.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/25 03:23 AM

The two are not mutually exclusive. You can believe men don't care about career while also simultaneously believing men get screwed in divorce court. But the notion that men don't care about career isn't true; it just doesn't compensate for appearance in women the same way it does for men. But most upper middle class people pair up with people of similar socioeconomic status, by virtue of the fact in their education and upbringing they tend to be around people of the same socioeconomic status.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/25 11:43 PM

I’d suggest that a significant number of them don’t want kids There is a growing trend of couples who don't want to have kids, but that's a whole lot different than being single. Personally I believe that romantic connection is a crucial part of the human experience, and one that family relationships and friendships can't replace. Find someone who is single at 40+ and not disappointed about it, and you've found a liar.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/25 05:14 AM

It's more like, the left has been shitting on men for a decade now and alienate a lot of voters because of it.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/25 12:40 AM
1

It's not that they don't have an effective way, it's that NOTHING can replace romantic experience for anyone, man or woman, in the context of being a huamn. Friendship and romantic relationships are two entirely different things. Find me a single woman who is single (like actually single, not situationships) at 35+ and not lonely and you've found a liar.

A yes, the patriarchy where men get bent over backwards in divorce court and men can be ordered to pay child support even after paternity fraud has been proven. There is no such as the patriarchy in 2024. It is the extremely wealthy vs everyone else. The everyone else includes men and women, that are both getting screwed over Also, feminism has zero interest in equality, and depending on the type of feminism (liberal feminists) some of them don't really even have any interest in actually protect…

We are talking about different things. There are med units in the military who's job is to render aid just like in your example. We rely on hospital workers, garbagemen, postal workers, trades people ect... for society to function. That's a lot different than "men are lonely and struggling with mental health". Everyone already knows men are lonely and struggling with mental health. People have been talking about it for YEARS. But society (and women) doesn't care about that whatsoever, and if you…

Schrödinger's feminism: a woman is simultaneously a victim and empowered, until something happens. Then she can choose which state benefits her the most.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/25 05:39 PM

That's not a way of thinking, it's reality, it's always been reality, and there's nothing anyone can do to ever change that.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/25 05:37 PM
2

Any figure/study citing 6-8 cents is full of shit. That is an obscenely high difference, and if it were the case every company would just hire more women and dramatically increase their profits by reducing cost. There might be a 1 or 2% difference, that stems from men's higher likelihood of asking for raises. But the "pay gap" as the term is used doesn't exist.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/25 05:33 PM
4

It's not about how or what I think, i'm describing the reality of being a man, we don't have inherent value for existing or get societal sympathy the way women do.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/25 05:30 PM
2

Pay gap isn't a problem for men to fix because the pay gap doesn't exist, its an imaginary concept feminists made up
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/25 05:28 PM
110

They are aware, they just don't really care all that much, and it's also not really women's job to fix it. If you are a man, nobody is coming to save you and nobody will feel sorry for you. You have take actionable steps to better yourself and build the life you want.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/25 04:30 AM

The response to a man doing it would absolutely be completely different. When you have children you make a commitment that whatever happens in life, you will face that adversity to be there for your children. You can't run away from that. I don't know what led this woman to make that decision but she is an incredibly selfish human being for trying to end her child's life.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/25 04:26 AM
2

It is absolutely impossible to study that with any semblance of reliability. Not everyone will be honest about cheating, and cheating also takes place without the other party knowing sometimes. The concept that morality is intrinsically tied to gender in general is downright illogical. Men lie. Women lie. Men cheat. Women cheat.

In the context of dating, nobody inherently owes anyone anything. Although, being upfront about intentions is part of being a decent human being.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/25 04:38 AM

So if a woman feigns attraction to a guy with a lot of money, who wouldn't be interested in being intimate if he knew she wasn't actually attracted to him, is that rape as well? Do not conflate dishonesty and consent. You are downplaying how serious and terrible rape really is by arbitrarily trying to re-define it.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/25 04:34 AM

Women ushered in an era in which commitment is not a requirement for intimacy. This is one of the results of that. Outside of a few exceptions (i.e. virgin, or waiting until marriage), if a woman isn't getting intimate with you within like 4-5 dates, she's not attracted to you.

You never know what someone is willing to do, what their state of mind is like, and whether or not they are carrying weapons. Violence is an absolute LAST resort, regardless of how strong/trained you are. I've put myself in harm's way to help strangers before and there's nothing heroic about it, it's downright stupid. Protect people important to you if necessary, but jumping into a potentially dangerous situation for a stranger is stupid. Call the police and let them handle it. The girl in the O…

The difference is that trump is polarizing, not purely unlikable. Hilary was mostly just unlikeable. A lot of people absolute loathe Trump, but simultaneously he is considered by many to be charismatic, and i'd say he is (or was at least) objectively quick-witted with a good sense of humor. That's why he was able to get elected in the first place despite no political experience. It should feel equal so that neither party feels like they are being singled out as the bad guy. Such as....? Paternity fraud is a real thing that occurs all over the world. I don't see any downside to preventing it.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/24 10:14 PM

Will never happen in a million years because the government has no interest in preventing men from raising children that aren't theirs. If that occurs, and the actual dad is a broke deadbeat, that means the child will be supported by government $$.

We need more men in education. There is a lot of pressure on men to become high earners. Teachers play a vital role, but they get paid like shit...so that's not going to happen.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/24 04:05 AM

The data simply means that higher earners have less kids, it doesn't indicate anything about the quality of life of kids from poorer households. Higher earners have children at a lower rate because they realize the responsibility and cost that comes along with raising children properly.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/24 03:46 AM

Men can already do this, they just want it mandatory so they can be insulated from accusing their partner of cheating. I don't want my tax money to go up so men can be spineless. Paternity tests aren't all that expensive, our country spends money on infinitely more unnecessary things. It's simply not socially acceptable to ask for a paternity test. The REAL cost, and why it hasn't happened yet, are the costs incurred when a father finds out a child isn't his, and now the government has to suppor…

There is no absolutely no circumstance in which someone with kids is another person's "match." until you get to 40 to 50 years old. People on places that talk about dating really don't understand the weight of taking on the responsibility of having a child to be responsible of when you date/marry someone with kids. There are a shit load of women (yes, even women who are 30-35) with varying levels of attractiveness who don't have kids. The 30-35 year old's "match" is another 30-35 year old of wor…

Fact of the matter is there aren't many women posters on this subreddit because women are a lot more likely to engage with content/in communities that they agree with. The same is true about dating discussion in general elsewhere on the internet and social media.

The main problem is that getting married is too easy. Making it harder to get married would solve absolutely none of the problems with marriage.

There are nowhere near enough people interested in working in childcare for everyone to have access to it, even if the government did pay. That's exactly why childcare is so expensive. Absolutely HUGE demand (there are waiting lists to even get your child in daycare in some areas) and not enough supply. And that's with a declining birth rate.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/24 09:28 PM

A wife of a guy earning 60k isnt doing anything different than the wife of a guy earning 1 million. If anything, the guy earning more can hire people to reduce his wife's workload around the house. There are literally hundreds of millions of Ayesha Currys, but only one Steph Curry. The athlete is an extreme example but even for a guy earning 150k+ I think its something to be conscious of. Its a much safer financial decision to pair up with someone of similar socioeconmic status, and not only for…
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/24 08:16 PM

That becomes a problem functionally because the partner receiving half the assets didn't necessarily do all that much to contribute to it, and often times most certainly doesn't have the skill set to acquire those assets on their own. Take for example a basketball player earning $50 mil a year for 5 years. Wife divorces him after 5 years, is entitled to half of that, despite not doing anything out of the ordinary to earn it nor having a world class skill set in basketball. Divorce should be easy…

Reason #1 is irrelevant. There are infinitely more costly things that the government wastes money on, the cost would be minuscule in the grand scheme of things. Reason #2 is precisely why mandatory paternity tests do not (and will never) exist. It is preferable (from the government's standpoint) to have a father unknowingly support a child that isn't his, than for the government to support it. I'd argue reason #2 is complete and utter bullshit to anyone that has any semblance of a moral compass …

Feels like it should be common sense. Divorce being a massive financial risk for men = incentive not to commit
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/24 12:21 AM

For a normal person in normal circumstances i'd be with you. But if I'm worth 9 figures and have a playoff game after the birth of my child, i'm playing in the game and then flying on a private jet immediately back to minny (where games 3 and 4 are) I don't think it would've been much of an inconvenience to be in denver for like 6 hours before heading back to minny
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 01:03 AM

It's a lot different when you're getting paid $40 mil a year with access to private jets. If he's going to miss a game why not just miss the whole series to be there for the first 2 weeks or so of his child's life?

Bro unless you are extremely attractive outright asking girls to hook up does not work. It comes across as sleazy. If that's what you want you have to be more subtle, say you're open to hanging out and seeing where it goes ect... and then IF you get to hang out in person you have to read her body language/vibe to see if she's interested in that.

I just issued him a warning, but if a user violates any rules in their comments report them and a mod will get to them in the queue at some point. Incivility is for personal attacks against another user. If we banned/warned everyone for broad statements (i.e. stating men/women are entitled) nobody would be able to post.

You phrase this like women actually avoid dating men who abuse them. They don't, morality is largely irrelevant to dating success with women because they don't select for it. Looks, emotional intelligence, status, income. On a wide scale, morality doesn't mean jack shit in the context of dating women.

Do you think it might have anything to do with the way guys on the spectrum talk about women online? This is complete and utter non-sense. Firstly: women date and marry violent criminals, men that sexually assault them, domestic abusers. Morality is essentially irrelevant to success with women. Secondly: This is an example of confirmation bias. However, if NT guys are willing to date ND women more, are they just willing to put up with their indiscretion more, or don't care as much? Generally speaking, women collectively have a laundry list of things they want in a man. Whereas men just want a down to earth loyal girl they find cute. This is an extension of that on a smaller scale, in conjunction with being socially awkward being more acceptable for women.

No fault is worse for different reasons. Women are now financially independent and can support themselves. People should not be entitled to half of their spouse's assets if they leave voluntarily barring things like domestic abuse (found guilty for it) or infidelity. Commitment has to be mutual. And functionally, with the way the world has changed, alimony longer than 5~ years should not exist. Divorce court is antiquated and the west treats marriage like nothing more than a summer fling.

/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/23 11:53 PM

He asked her out, and he doesn't pay. Conveniently, men are expected to initiate/ask girls out, and do most of the time. When women "he asked her out" or "whoever asks the person out" they just mean the guy should pay. To be honest I would recommend men to pay for women they are interested in dating seriously, if she's been attentive/engaged on the date. But the OP's attitude, that she felt so offended he didn't pay for something she ordered, comes across as really entitled.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/23 11:42 PM

Money is pointless if you aren't able to subtly demonstrate your wealth, and if you aren't in social spaces (not talking about work) where high earning men go to. An extreme enough deficit in any of the major areas (physical attractiveness, game/emotional intelligence, status, wealth) can invalidate all of the rest. That's the case for tech bros. Combination of deficits in 1 and 2.

It's not a matter of complaining; the most desirable men most women want to date simply won't wait because they don't have to; women perpetuate hook up culture and collectively no longer require commitment for sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/23 02:21 AM

I'm talking about long-term relationships or marriages where a couple has a child and they separate, either because the guy was a prick or a deadbeat dad. Generally in those instances there were red flags well before having a child together. Some red flags can't be covered up with lies. /r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 09:40 PM

These women asking for the opinion of male figures in their life would be a good start
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 09:37 PM

Yes, it is. Men are responsible for the women they pick as well; Johnny Depp married a literal psychopath and it had a tremendous impact on his life. Bad people will always exist and that's simply not something that will ever go away. Things like better understanding of consent and better communication we can improve upon, but the sorts of guys that will abuse women, or deadbeat dads...those people will unfortunately always exist.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 09:31 PM

Rarely is that the case in couples with kids without numerous accompanying red flags beforehand.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 09:28 PM

Here in the US the government does in fact support single parents, financially. I personally don't believe it is the government's role to help them beyond giving aid financially; the important part is to make sure the child is taken care of. The solution to this problem is for women to take more accountability, prioritize good character and vet better.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 09:26 PM

Neither is achievable but a far larger percentage of women absolutely could be better judges of character by: Prioritizing maturity, communication, good character, stability. A lot of women say they value these things but maybe only like ~10-15% genuinely do. It's not that hard to vet, nor does it have to be done alone. Take into account the opinion of male figures in your life, get an idea of a man's reputation in the community, get an idea of the character of his family (families with strict, …

So not prostitutes. This thread and law are specifically about having sex for money, strippers and porn may full under that umbrella but they are and have been legal to buy/sell for quite some time. Which brings me back to my point: there are very, very few women paying male escorts for sex. Which makes sense because they can get it for free.

Old and overweight women can get casual sex for free. Like you do realize that there’s nothing legally stopping men from having wealthier wives and collecting alimony in the event of divorce? Women generally date up in socioeconomic status, but this is a moot point because men don't prioritize income/career do as much as women. Appearance is most important, followed by personality. Thoughts on the whole usher/keke palmer thing? Where her boyfriend went wrong is calling her out in public, that should've been a private conversation. But I don't see any issue with expressing that you don't want your gf/wife to wear clothes where her ass is literally out. As usual the sjws on social media are calling him insecure, controlling, don't tell a woman what to wear ect... and she literally has a child with this man and is basically grinding on usher, streets behavior. It's not about women being property. I'm not on the "I need X% of her money" train like Tate. It's about my views on intimacy; it should be something special and meaningful between a guy/girl with an emotional connection. Sometimes a girl has had like ~10 other partners just from past relationships/dating which is fine, I'm not as hung up on that as other guys, but any stranger being able to see every inch of your wife/girlfriend for a few dollars is on a different scale entirely. Not so special…

I know I'll get downvoted for this but I think both men and women should be shamed for not dating a sex worker. Women generally feel entitled to having any preferences they want while shaming men for having preferences. Shaming will happen, but the vast majority of men still wont date a prostitute or onlyfans girl.

Yes, they will, as they currently already are. But as a man, if any stranger on the internet can see your wife naked for $4.99 then you have some life choices to evaluate. Men with self respect will keep doing what they're doing, we can leave getting cucked (literally) to the adam22s of the world.

It's neither good nor bad, it's just biology. Women have always dated upwards in socioeconomic status; they spend 9 months vulnerable while pregnant and as such look for the man who can be the best possible provider. And I agree 100% 40k for a grown man shows no drive or ambition. But there are men that will tell men like that bluntly that that's unacceptable if they want to attract women, whereas society/culture tells women they deserve whatever they want just as they are. Yup, takes very little to be above average, but quite a bit more than that to be perceived as above average by women. Ask most women what they think the "average" man is and they'll say like 5'11 200lbs, face that is actually more of a 6 or 6.5/10, earning 70-80k a year.

You can't have a toxic violent culture if men stop feeling entitled to sex. This doesn't exist. And ironically, women that spread this belief do so precisely because they spend too much time online. There are far more women that feel entitled to relationships than there are men that feel entitled to sex, and the activity level in female incel equivelant spaces (lip stick alley, twox, fds prior to mods refusing to moderate it) prove that. Some women feel that sex entitles them to commitment, and …

/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/23 11:57 PM

OLD + social media. 30 years ago women had access to the men in their social circle/community in their immediate vicinity. Now they have access to a lot more men.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/23 11:56 PM

Women don't swipe right anywhere near 30% of the time. Irregardless of this particular study's results.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/23 10:50 PM

Casual sex isn't an issue but a lot of men struggling to find fulfilling romantic relationships isn't a good thing. Men are a lot more motivated and productive members of society when they're mental and physical well-being is good. The thing is, the things that led to dating in 2023 aren't changing so there isn't really any solution.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/23 10:27 PM

The answer is simple, but this isn't it...at all. Social media + OLD (moreso social media) have exponentially increased women's options exponentially. Pair that with women earning their own income (a good thing) and looking to date equal and up in socioeconomic status (hypergamy, makes sense to want the best man evolutionarily), and you get dating in 2023.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/23 10:24 PM

Big =/= nice butt, though a nice butt can be big shape is more important.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/23 06:56 PM

Thoughts: women's standards in 2023 are through the roof. They have exponentially more options than ever, earn their own income and will generally, outside of a few outliers, want to date men of equal or higher socioecononimc status. Average or "normal" simply doesnt cut it if you want to do well with women. A man can be a plain normal dude with nothing seriously wrong with him and he wont get jack shit via online dating, nor will he fare well via cold approach.

Fitness and income are two things that you can change. It's socially acceptable for a woman to want a man who's fit even if she's not, and a man who makes a higher income. Your point about height being immutable isn't really relevant. The underlying point is that people can have a preference that they don't necessarily have themselves.

You more or less nailed it. Women being worse off financially post divorce is not a reflection of the fairness of divorce/family court, which is pretty obviously biased in favor of women by virtue of being designed to address issues that existed when women didn't work. Rather, it is reflective of divorced women unable to be successful financial on their own merit.

Yup. About 42% of americans are obese, and another 30ish% are overweight. We are inflating it but the UK also has as really high percentage of overweight people.

The average 30 year old couple isn’t this fat boring man and woman without a smart phone trudging around a supermarket. That is (objectively) and unironically the average 30 year old couple. The avg man/women in the west is overweight (borderline obese) statistically, and obesity percentages rise with age. There is literally nothing to argue here, it's like trying to claim the sky isn't blue.

They are more picky in the sense that we prioritize looks #1 (personality is still important, but it looks have to be there) but if you ask most men what they want in a woman, vs what women want in a man, most men will just answer something along the lines of: down to earth loyal girl I'm attracted to. Whereas most women will have a laundry list of requirements. And oddly enough, it seems that a large chunk of women who are below avg often seem to have more of them than women who are conventiona…

The statistic you cited has almost nothing to do with the premise you're arguing. Hook up culture essentially means culture that promotes and accepts casual sex. And there is a lot of casual sex being had, regardless of the fact that a fairly significant subset of men arent having sex.

Simplest explanation: democratic women are less family oriented, having more adversarial attitudes and beliefs towards men, and are thus simply a lot harder to please and maintain a happy, functional marriage with.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/23 06:12 AM

Absolutely fantastic post. democratic women are more likely to be steeped in feminism and left wing feminism basically makes a virtue out of women being unhappy about their men. Any acts of service in the relationships that would traditionally considered being a loving supportive partner are counted against the man as part of the patriarchal oppression. Unfortunately virtually all far left women don't have the self awareness to realize this.

Its a rebound effect to single mothers being praised as brave and courageous by other women. Beyond that deadbeats will always exist. Will criticizing them make them better people? You cant control others but you can control who you allow into your life. Sometimes women end up in marriages where their husband becomes abusive afterwards, but outside of that most of these women chose poorly. For women, that emotional connection can lead to that visceral physical lust type of attraction. The entire reason there are more men than women looking for casual sex is because of this. Women's physical attraction is affected more by emotional connection and familiarity; for a guy a hot girl with a fat ass is hot and it's that simple. Which isn't to say for women that they aren't attracted to height, muscle, masculine face ect... but a lot of women need to feel chemistry to feel really physica…

Simping is causing problems for both guys and girls. Cut it out. Do not simp and tell other people you see exhibiting these characteristics to stop it. It doesn't really work like that. Simping results from lack of options. For me what I classify as hate is over the top vitriol that serves no purpose other than to make someone feel bad. There is some of that to be sure, but for the most part most men that comment on this just say that there's no excuse to be fat (barring some sort of disability or untreated systematic disease), and it's unattractive for a person to not have enough self control to take care of themselves physically.

Yes it has. It's just less awkward to ghost if you're talking to someone but haven't met. I've only ever ghosted a girl I went on a date with once, and that was because she was a catfish that was 50 lbs heavier and looked nothing like her pics even if she wasn't 50 lbs heavier. I'd prefer it if people could just say hey I had a good time but I don't think we have chemistry, but I guess for women they are apprehensive about a guy flipping out if they reject him so they ghost, so it is what it is.

It has made posting naked content socially acceptable and lured in what would otherwise be regular women to do so thinking they'll make bank You are also simply incorrect. The title speaks for itself, it states "credibility of women in society", it does not distinguish between OF women and regular women. The things some women may do may influence the reputation of all women, just as it does for men. The vast majority of men don't commit sexual assault or domestic violence, yet they get demonized…

I do think people should have 100% ownership over their name and likeness This is probably the one positive aspect i'll agree with. Porn was/is far more exploitative of women. also why I'm noticing everyone except the most liberal of women pushing back more on the ease of which onlyfans has made online sex work to vulnerable young women. This is actually a myth you'll only find online. The vast majority of men will not be willing to date someone who does porn or OF. Not all will say that because it is far less socially unacceptable for men to say "I wont date x or y"

I think the term "sex worker" is odd and too big an umbrella. A woman who has sex with other people for money is a prostitute. A woman who posts naked content online for money is a pornstar. There, no confusion. The two are vastly different and shouldn't be lumped together.

They are basically like a less despicable version of phone scammers that target elderly, though they do a lot more harm in the grand scheme of things because they are so common. There is no such thing as a "172% chance"; a 100% chance of something occurring is a guarantee. You can instead describe something in terms of increase in probability; if something is 100% more likely to happen than something else (not the same as 100% chance to happen), that means it is twice as likely. But 172% chance is like saying 2+2=5, it is completely illogical.

Start at 20 and lift seriously for 5-6 years and you will be about as strong and as muscular as you ever will, and you'll get all the benefits that being strong confers in the bedroom and in being able to protect a girl. Honestly mine is women after 30 still can't pull or aren't as attractive when in their 20s Because they aren't. A 33-34 year old women simply can't compete with a hot young 23 year old girl. Take any celebrity who is in their 30s and attractive, and odds are (without designer clothes and professional makeup) they were more attractive in their early 20s. But a woman who's 30+ def still has options if she's hot and puts effort in to maintain her appearance, hits the gym ect...

The most direct and obvious solution would be to improve the ‘quality’ of the population of single men so that a larger percentage of women would opt to partner up. You had me up until the word population. This is why we are where we are. People acknowledge that the avg man is not an appealing dating prospect, but it's considered misognyistic and politicially incorrect to point out that the average women is also not an appealing dating prospect. It's damn rare to find a woman who is: feminine, l…

My biggest disagreement with trp is probably the idea that men age like fine wine. Most people age like shit, women just fall off sooner. I've seen dudes I went to high school with look like they dam near aged 15 years from 18 to 25. Put on a ton of weight and can't keep it off, their hairline is destroyed, their skin looks rough. Ideal time for a guy to be in an LTR with plans to eventually get married is mid 20s to early 30s imo. That time frame allows time to establish a career, gain life exp…

I really don't put much stock into the specific #s in these self reported surveys. Even fairly avg women have no problems getting a boyfriend if they want one.

In most of my top upvoted threads on this sub I've linked a myriad of sources. That being said, there's a trend on this sub where someone will make a claim and someone will ask for evidence in instances where it isn't feasible. Evidence from peer reviewed scientific studies is the gold standard, but some stuff simply can not be substantiated with that kind of evidence because it's too abstract a concept/relies on data collection that will simply not end up being accurate. Anything pertaining to …

Most men in their 30s are more attractive than than in their 20s Most people age like shit. Men are most attractive from their mid 20s to very early 30s. The dudes that think they will be 38 years old picking up hot 22 year old women are deluded, that isn't going to happen without serious money/status.

You assert here that women care more about looks in their 20s than at any other time of their life. Is that actually supported by evidence? Being at the age that is considered peak physical attractiveness to men does not require that they also prioritize physical attractiveness the most at that age. For example, it may be that women care about looks the most in their 30s or 40s. The importance women place on looks may remain fairly steady over a long period of time. This claim needs supporting e…

There's really nothing to substantiate that. I'd counter your suggestion by saying that plenty of young women (and I say this as a young guy, who is around plenty of young women) when asked if they are single will say they're in a "situationship" / it's complicated sort of thing, not that they are outright not single.

It's not about what she "deserves" or not, we have laws in society and men are inherently much stronger than women and more capable of inflicting harm when they hit someone. If she had wanted to she could've very easily called the police and filed charges against him. Gender relations and dynamics discussed in those subreddit are almost exclusively about heterosexual cis men and hetero/bi cis women. Because they make up the vast majority, and LGBTQ dating dynamics are simply different than hetero guy/girl dynamics. You are smart enough to know this yet used an outlier edge case to retort that men can get abortions too. It's irrelevant. There is a compromise between self esteem and delusion. As a general rule I think thinking highly of oneself is something that's backed up by competence and hard work. Women who are a total catch should think highly of themselves and have high standards. There was a woman on FnF a while back who was maybe a 3/10 saying she wants a man earning 100k a month. List of subreddits I have found tend to have a strong association with femcel type behavior: inceltear, blatantmisogyny, twoxchromosomes, femaledatingstrategy, askwomenover30 First 3 in particular. If a woman spends a fair bit of time in any of those 3 subs that's as big a self report as it gets.

That’s wild to me as a woman. Women are largely the ones responsible for this trend. They use incel/virgin as an insult like candy.

I'm sorry but there is not an absolute snowball's chance in hell the woman jordan peterson shamed is 5'11 160-175 lbs. 175 lbs does NOT look like that on a 5'11 frame. She still looks good, just getting the facts straight. And your argument is terrible because you named a few men and then assume all rp men are equal in their ability to discern obesity/post wall.

partner up with someone and use each other as motivation to become healthy. Bad idea. Someone who can't control their own weight is very unlikely to be able to do it and maintain it relying on someone else as motivation. Motivation is fleeting. This is off topic but most guys don't pay for onlyfans, if they do, they do it to try and interact directly with the woman which is pathetic. The women who take advantage of these guys are the same as guys who go after girls that get drunk at areas for sex. Eh not quite a good comparison, being drunk to a point can make it difficult to actually consent. But they do take advantage of men who are largely mentally ill/lonely. Which is in large part why I'll never respect girls that show their boobs…

Why are men abusive deadbeats? Why are women abusive? Lesbian relationships have a pretty high rate of domestic violence. Bad people and immature people will exist. You can't control the actions of the other near 8 billion people in the world, only your own. Domestic abuse isn't always the best example because sometimes there were no signs of it previously, but generally speaking a lot of women date men who treat them like garbage, because again, morality is not a determinant of how successful m…
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/23 06:01 AM

Both of these can exist. People don't want to work the low paying poor condition jobs, so there is a shortage. And simultaneously everything is expensive as shit. But I also am skeptical in trusting academia if it has a clear liberal/feminist bias.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/23 05:53 AM

Because if you meet at let's say, 18, you aren't necessarily ready to get married at 21. For some people that age they aren't even finished with undergrad, never mind being in financial stable and mature enough to decide to start a life with someone.

Seems like they are in fact not given that women initiate 70-80% of divorces. It's less about raising/lower standards and more being an adult and prioritizing things like maturity and morality. Women are more emotionally intelligent on average, so why do they date and marry man childs, deadbeats, men who abuse them ect...? Because the ones that do so (there are exceptions sometimes) don't value maturity and morality. Generally when people talk about rising standards they talk about the women wit…

Most women are very careful about keeping tabs on their guy, and they don't share their men. Women find out pretty quickly if their man is cheating. A man doesn't have to cheat to be having sex with multiple girls. Multi-dating (but not exclusive with anyone yet) is common place today, and fwb relationships also exist. A woman that lands a high-value man isn't liable to be willing to share him. Depending on how high value he is she may not have a choice. Whoever is the more scarce commodity sets…

4/10 is not mid, no duh they aren't sleeping with 9s when 9s can hook up with 5-10. But they can and do receive attention from men well above their level who wouldn't actually date them seriously. Even dating seriously, a woman has to be either reaaally unattractive or really delusional to be unable to find a partner.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/23 03:19 AM

Can't speak for this poster but I think what he's getting at his that these women are unable to discern between sexual market value and value in terms of who they can feasibly date seriously. This feeds into the entitlement and lack of effort that we see from women in the west. Why put effort in with someone who matches your relationship level/value when you inherently think you deserve and can do better?

After genetics, body fat percentage affects the way a man’s face looks more than anything else. A 5% change in body fat percentage, as little as 10lbs of fat, can be the difference between having chiseled features that women swoon over or being invisible. Simplest answer I can give as someone who lost his virginity quite late/struggled with girls when I was younger is that society (and we as men as well, individually and collectively) place so much emphasis on sex and success with women that men that struggle believe having sex is some panacea. Women also contribute to this BIG TIME by using virgin/incel (lack of sexual success) as the go-to insult against men. In reality it's not a panacea. You realize they only cut down to extremely low body fat percentage very briefly for the shows? Then spending time hating on korean beauty standards because those women look different? She didn't want to have custody to begin with. The issue isn't the 1k a month, the issue is he should've gotten custody and just been his primary guardian. And he is unable to see the son he's supporting.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/23 03:11 PM

I don't see any evidence of that being true. Pointing out that domestic abuse is bad or that not being able to take care of basic personal things around the house is immature is like saying that the sky is blue, it's not something that needs to said because it's obvious. Fact of the matter is that bad people who do deplorable things, and lazy immature people, will always exist. I used to do that and its quite good validation having 5 hot guys complimenting you and messaging you all the time. I cant see any negatives to dating apps. This is why you see no negatives, you have no clue what the experience is like for men. I met my partner off tinder. Its quite easy to find your person off there. So did I. /r/PurplePillDebate17/05/23 01:53 PM

One word: entitlement. Some women feel that simply existing entitles them to a desirable guy with his shit together. Though this question is really suppose to just be for discussion/hypothetical, nobody with an ounce of emotional intelligence actually asks someone on a date "what do you bring to the table?"
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/23 01:51 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 08:17 PM

Her own words: "Now I'm ready for an equal partner." Its common sense. A relationship with a quality man/woman will just enhance your life. "Single by choice" for a woman turning 30 is an oxymoron, if a really great guy was interested in dating her serously she'd date him in a heartbeat. Single by choice for a woman who isnt super young just means the men she wants arent interested.

What you are seeing in real time is a woman unable to reconcile with the fact that she is simply unable to get commitment/interest to date seriously from the men she wants to date. Because I have to enforce the sub's rules? lol A post has to be neutral unless it's a CMV thread. And of course women will say morals are important to them, what women say they value vs their actions don't necessarily always match up. That, and a good amount of women on this subreddit are a bit older (strong overlap with datingoverthirty); older women tend to be more mature and place more value on character and stability.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 04:40 PM

You are talking about sex and discussion is silly. There are literal needs (i.e. food and water) and then other needs that are not required to sustain life but moreso for general well-being and self actualization. This post just illustrates a trend where women want to minimize a 18+ woman's autonomy when it's convenient, and then pretend they didn't when the topic of something like selling naked videos of yourself to strangers on the internet comes up. If you think 18-20 year old girls shouldn't date 25 year old guys, more power to you. Go tell the women who date older men that. They are an adult and they can make their own decisions about who they date, and the character of the men they choose to date.

It's not just Miami and LA (I can't list all of the cities lol), but the behavior of women on the show is an exaggerated version of the way women are outside of those types of places act. Whereas a dumb 4/10 might want a guy earning 100k a month on FnF, a fairly average looking overweight woman who doesn't live in a big city might want a man with a salary that puts him in the top ~10-15% of earners.

Why have an opinion on anything? Do you have a source from a peer reviewed scientific journal for everything you say? "Fact of the matter" is an expression, but even if I did have a source, something as abstract and ambiguous as attraction cannot be definitively proven to where it is irrefutable fact with just one or two studies.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/23 10:14 PM

It's not about "enjoying it", it's about the fact that most women consistently prove that morality is irrelevant when it comes to the men they date. And nobody should need a reddit thread to know that they should leave a partner that is physically abusing them. Now actually leaving/making a plan can be a bit trickier, but the conclusion that "hey this guy hit me he's a huge piece shit and I should leave him" should be pretty easy to arrive at.

People on the twox complain that they always see trp stuff on their tiktok feeds and YT shorts suggestions. There's been numerous creators with well over a million subs. Even "normies" run into redpill content on social media. Tate basically had damn near every subreddit, social media platform, and school teachers having a meltdown when he first went viral. I think right before kevin samue…

I use the term to differentiate between love that is more static (you are your parent's child, so they love you regardless) and romantic love that is more dependent on things like attractiveness, personality, things you add to a person's life ect... So in a romantic context "unconditional love" is a silly term to use if you ask me.

By far the most important one: date men who are genuinely enthusiastic about you and show it through their actions. Planning actual date activities, going to dinner, asking questions to get to know you and your life, not playing hot/cold mind games. None of that "hey come over let's watch a movie" on the 1st date Wait until the ~3rd-5th date to sleep with a guy. Waiting past the first will weed out a decent amount of guys and it also allows you to build more a connection and get comfortable with…

Pragmatically it absolutely is unconditional, the term unconditional is colloquially used to refer to the way parents love their children. If you want to be absolutist then nothing is unconditional.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/23 12:39 AM

I mean unconditionally and without the need to have sex There is no such thing as unconditional romantic love. Sex is a normal and healthy part of a relationship. how much more accepting the women were... Women are not more accepting. Sticking around on a date for another 30 mins to ghost later is not "accepting"; women generally have a much longer list of traits a man has to meet. Whereas with men it's mostly, cute girl who is loyal and down to earth.

Waiting months is perfectly fine for a girl who is super unexperienced. You may want to try to find someone like minded/conservative sexually. The issue arises when women make men wait while they are experienced and have previously had hook ups and quick casual sex. Obviously, no quality guy will sit around and let himself get played like that/let a girl hold sex over his head. I personally wouldnt wait more than 4 or 5 dates unless I was dating a virgin or a girl with 1 or 2 partners.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/23 05:01 PM

Hell no. That is factually a radical stance for anyone regardless of political affiliation or ideology. There's a reason basically every state offers no fault despite politics being so polarizing/divided. Being stuck married to someone legally is just nuts. I think a lot of RPers would oppose the fact that some states only offer no fault. I think if cheating occured, for example, that should result in the unfaithful partner receiving substantially less of their spouse's assets.

Transactional relationships and money/time investment are/were a big theme on fds. Have fds type vetting/strategies worked for you personally in getting what you want? I ask because I think fds is really just a place to angry vent and offers nothing in the way of useful advice when it comes to dating. Relationships are inherently transactional to some degree, but I think viewing them as such is just such a recipe for disaster. I.e. if you expect to have sex you should be paying for a date and it…
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/23 06:14 AM

Nope. Not a legal expert but as far as I know essentially every state offers no-fault as an option at least. There's a few that require you to be living separately for a while before filing no fault, but the option is there. And I assume he is arguing for it genderless, but even that is absolutely absurd. I think people should do their damndest to work through problems and make marriage work, but that's a far cry from forcing people to stay in them.

When he was talking about getting divorced he was complaining that in the state of texas a person can get a divorce legally without permission from their spouse. I don't think it's weird but if you're like 3 dates in and things are going well and she says yes, that would be a huge turn off for me. My gf and I outright stopped talking to other people after our 2nd date, even though we weren't exclusive yet nor asked each other to not talk to other people. I always say what struggling men who are virgins are missing out on his romantic companionship. Sex is whatever...casual sex is validating when you experience it because it feels good to be desired, but it's not fulfilling. It's absolutely unreasonable, 6 months is a long ass time. I wonder if he's asexual because no dude in his right mind will want to wait 6 months unless he's waiting for marriage, which is the scenario where it would be reasonable to wait that long/expect your partner to be on the same page. Putting a hard timeline on intimacy like that is bizarre too.

It wont change who women swipe on, just their number of options. They'll just wait it out. Hinge restricts number of likes per day and the like distribution is still heavily skewed towards the top.

For women born as women. A doctor has to ensure that there isn't a sports hernia during a physical to clear someone to play sports at school. It's not my job to come up with ways on how to enforce sports fairness and address all the intricacies, but it would never include any sort of invasion of privacy (only medical professionals involved, as is standard at higher level competition), and i'm almost exclusively thinking about high school and up. Abs are notoriously difficult to hypertrophy. This notion exists because women feel more entitled to relationships than people let on, when they have sex with a man and he's doesn't end up deciding to commit long-term/feel there's chemistry there for a relationship. So they rationalize it as "he used me for sex" It's like the equivalent of a guy that pays for a girl's dinner and gets upset that she doesn't have sex with him.

Sex is like money. It's everything if you don't have it but not the end all be all if you have. You minimize it to create a weak strawman, but lack of intimacy is a legitimate issue and it shouldn't come as a shock that has a significant impact on a person's well being. It's just not one another person can solve. What you miss is that people that are sexless also don't have romantic relationships either. These concepts are so simple I don't know why I bothered typing them out.

Aging is mostly genetics. A person who is genetically suited to age better who doesn't put effort into anti aging into it will still age better than a person who is genetically prone to age poorly but tries very hard to maintain their appearance.

These reasons are why divorce is practically non-existent in my culture. People vet orders of magnitudes better and more maturely than as is typical in the US. Women talk about being more emotionally intelligent and adept at picking up on social cues, which I think is accurate, but then a lot of them turn around and wont take accountability for poor choices in choosing a partner. A lot of people get upset over this but I feel that involving your family/getting their blessing (not permission) is …

Most people don't have the maturity for platonic guy/girl friendships. Girls keep friend zoned guys around for emotional support, companionship, and favors like a pseudo boyfriend. Men relegate women to fwbs, getting what they want (sex), without the accompanying commitment and boyfriend priviledges. Both are a shitty deal

Clearly the sexual revolution didnt work out all that well. Men know women have sex without getting commitment from men, so other men follow suit. If society collectively starts demonizing casual sex and normalizing commitment/relationship before sex things would be a lot better. And yes I agree that people generally overstate how many women want casual sex. And why would they? It's a bad deal for women. Orgasm gap + you waste your time + you give men something valuable and don't get commitment.…

Your post is predicated on the assumption that those single celibate women wouldnt date and/or have sex if a guy they were interested asked them out. You cant make that assumption, so its more like competing for 34% You could then spin this around, use the % of single men and say why are women complaining about men? They are competing for the % not in relationships. Whats the takeaway supposed to be, a confirmation that getting casual sex and dating is more challenging for men? We already knew t…

Doesn't work like that. No worthwhile guy is going to commit to a woman and let her sleep with other men unless he's a cuck. Desirable men are a more scarce commodity than attractive women. If a girl wants that arrangement she can be a fwb or find a mediocre guy
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/23 12:27 AM

Men here routinely point out that it will happen, not that women should accept it. If you want to date an attractive successful multimillionaire, he may not not accept only having sex with one woman. If that's an issue for a woman, she doesn't have to date him. There are infinitely more attractive women than there are very desirable men, and the person who is more scarce sets the terms of engagement. I'm in favor of it only prior to birth (like within the first 20 weeks or something), with the hopes that it would reduce the number of children in single parent households and/or children born out of wedlock. Would also eliminate women trying to baby trap rich men and celebrities entirely. After that point/after birth, no, because at that point you'd just be shifting a man's responsibility to his living child onto taxpayers.

My direct comment to this thread said men should use condoms anyway, I just replied to you here because people that suggest vasectomies for men who don't want children don't seem to be aware of the fact that their reversal rate drops considerably over time. Vasectomies are for men that a) do not want kids in the future or b) are done having kids. Using it as temporary contraception is just playing russian roulette.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/23 11:43 PM
3

The thing with male vasectomy though is that it can be reversible and isn’t nearly as damaging as it is for females. Men are back at work by Monday. The reversal success rate falls off exponentially over time. Especially after 5+ years or so. Which is why doctors performing it let men know that reversal is not guaranteed. A vasectomy is a complete non-option for a man who wants kids in the future.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/23 11:37 PM
1

No. If someone can prove a girl did what that girl trying to trap drake did it should result in criminal charges, but otherwise if we're talking about contraception, the pill can fail, and men should be using condoms as well regardless of whatever contraception the girl is using.

This is a lovely, well written post, and it would be accurate if the word "average man" in the title and post was changed to "top tier man"; the advent of these technological changes and sexual liberation movement have had the dual effect of increasing opportunities for casual sex but also exponentially increasing women's options, and thus raising their standards. I don't really know how else to articulate it, I think that was pretty straight forward. And I don't think politics has much to do with being classy or trashy. I associate trashy with behaviors like having children out wedlock

If this were enacted properly (can only waive financial obligation before birth) my thought process is that this would prevent a lot of women from having children in situations where there isn't a stable household to raise the child to begin with.

You can always appeal thread removals in modmail. For future reference also if you post a CMV use the CMV flair, not the question for women one. People store fat differently, and facial/abdominal fat can often be the hardest to lose. You'd have to be down to like 12%~ body fat to be as attractive as possible. I don't remember your height/weight but men with muscle just outright look better leaner. This of course still doesn't guarantee anything. Being fit is just one of many things women ideally desire in a man. Also not to be pedantic because i'm sure you know plenty about lifting as well, but that 12 lbs lost is not entirely fat, much …

Look at women's actions, not their words. Any rhetoric trying to discount the importance of physical attractiveness, status/career, or money are intellectually dishonest talking points. r/dating is a cesspool where the mods shut down any discourse (and ban people) that does not paint women has angels sent down from heaven. 25-30 is an odd range. 25 is not old. But for 30+, especially nearing mid 30s, the pool of quality single women drops considerably, because most of them are in relationships. When I say quality single women I am excluding women who are not educated, are single mothers, and women who are significantly overweight.

Fam I see women's profiles. Many of their bios and pics are shit too. Bios and pic quality are not factors in why the experience is a lot diferent for men on OLD apps. It's the gender ratio in conjunction with hypergamy. Women on there cant differentiate the attention they get for sex from their value as a potential LTR

The blue pill side of things here is just anecdotes and different forms of "touch grass" but in real life women want someone who is taller. In the US average man is 5'9, avg woman is 5'4. So you are saying that women on average want a man who is 5'5+. Do you think that's accurate in real life? It's always odd to me when people say online dating should be disregarded because it's not real life. The entire point of online dating is to find someone to meet in real life and actually interact. And wi…

I only speak for myself but I don't consider talking about height to be any pill. I feel like it should be pretty uncontroversial common sense to acknowledge that women are attracted to taller men/consider height important. Women are very candid about this; they ask height and sometimes put it in their bio on apps. The redpill twist on it is that you can control the cards you are dealt, so focus on status/game/money and other aspects of looks to make up for it. I think a fair amount of height ta…

Unless we are talking about things like slurs, I am categorically opposed to attempts to dictate language that people use by way of social pressure. We say "humans have 5 fingers on each hand" even though there are people with extra/missing digits that don't necessarily adhere to the norm, because language is not dictated by exceptions to the rule. Firstly, he cited statistics from a a study in a peer reviewed scientific journal. Stats are not tied to any ideology; they are merely data. Identifying that height (one aspect of physical appearance) plays a role in success with women is not inherently incel content. I'm 6ft so height so I can't relate to shorter dudes, but I don't need to to know that it's a key part of physical attraction. Hell I don't need to look at data for it, women themselves are generally very upfront about it.

Income inequality will increase. Dating will continue to become progressively more difficult and competitive for men. More women will decide against having children and focus on other aspects of their life, as they can't get commitment from a man they want. Top tier men will leverage their desirability to get a lot of casual sex without commitment. Children born out of wedlock, boys being raised by single mothers instead of two parent households. Basically everything that's going on now. The gyn…

Being on ppd has just made my disgust for white knights grow. Realistically, some women have had negative experiences with men. And it makes sense to work in your own self interest, If I was a woman I'd be invested in women's side of things as well. But how lame do you have to be to suck up to women for brownie points as a man? On reddit in general I see men post in women's spaces sometimes and tear down men to fit in, it's downright embarrassing.

I think dating is not affected that much by it. It's two fold: Dating is expensive. Dual incomes are a lot more convenient with the cost of living. You can't live of off two incomes if you aren't paired up yet, and that process is getting expensive as hell. Yeah there are some free dates you can do, but you can't go hiking on every date.

Men don't dictate women's behavior and they did not create hook up culture that feminism strived for. And in turn, women do not dictate men's preferences. Is it hypocritical for a woman earning 60k a year to want a man earning 100k a year? What about a 5'3 woman wanting to date a man who is 6ft? Women don't necessarily adhere/fit in with the standards they have for men. This entire debate is so pointless. Reality dictates how realistic standards are. u/Nockerjoe woke up and chose to spit cold hard truth today. Gender/dating discourse in a nutshell. Because the problem isn't that Andrew Tate and Fresh and Fit are somehow magically brainwashing young men. The problem is that those guys make way more sense to young men than people like you ever did. Ah okay thanks for clarification. What I was alluding to was not people identify with these trends therefore they are accurate, but moreso that people tend to ignore the why people are drawn to certain groups, and attribute it to those people simply being inherently low character. An example of this would be the growing number of men identifying with the alt right. A lot of women these days take issue with conservative men, but they too attribute being conservative to being a bad person, rather …

It's nothing personal that's just my belief towards that sort of vague cliche advice. I've been to therapy, and while it's a valuable tool for a lot of people, it's not a panacea. If a guy isn't successful in his personal endeavors, has no accomplishments, and doesn't get women...then yeah his mental health will suffer as a result of it. Therapy wont fix that, and it didn't for me. Hitting the gym, grooming better, dressing better, talking to a lot of women to force myself to get past rejection …

Have a look at my profile for a start. I mention daily how a man has to feel comfortable in his own skin every day. He has to learn to love himself inside out. These are not actionable solutions or tangible advice, which is what i've come to expect from bluepill. The "love yourself" trope is just cliche virtue signaling. Men feeling more positive and having more self esteem occurs as a result of competence and fulfillment; someone who is lacking in self esteem can't just "learn to love themselve…

You articulated that perfectly. Emphasis on this part: it is because virtually all young men witness the bad-boy phenomena during highschool and early twenties. The blue-pill ignores this as if it doesn't exist. Blue pillers ignore and deny commonalities that young men experience. Morality is agendered, and there is a reason a lot of young men seem to resonate/be drawn to some of these redpill figures and trp ideology.

They fully believe certain men are monopolizing the dating market but seem to not think they should be held accountable. Why would a man need to be "held accountable" for being desirable? I often hear men rejoicing about the fact that women will hit the "wall" and lose all of her sexual value. The reason why this occurs is jealousy. An average man does not have the same level of options that an average woman does, which can be frustrating for him.
