Hey all,

I'm here to spread awareness about a very important issue. As you know, the gender wage gap is a very highly discussed topic these days. This is not a troll thread so I'd appreciate if the mods could read it all in it's entirety, thanks. Here are two examples that illustrate the wage gap:

  1. Findings from a 2019 google study illustrated that at google, men got paid less than women for similar work.

  2. The US women's soccer team was offered the same pay structure as the men's team and rejected it. A judge also dismissed their claims for gender discrimination. Despite that, with the support of social justice warriors, the US women's soccer team managed to negotiate a deal in which they receive half of the men's bonuses. That means, should the men qualify for the men's world cup, the women's team will receive half of their bonus. Obviously, the gulf in global talent between men's and women's soccer is comparable to, and I am not exaggerating here, to the difference between boys middle school basketball and the NBA.

Men work longer hours, more dangerous jobs, and more physically demanding jobs. Society is normalizing paying women more for unequal work to combat fake gender discrimination.

Thoughts? Is this negatively impacting the dating market? Men are expected to pay for dates after all.
