The wall is an exaggeration. It's honestly more like an increasingly steep hill. There is no bam, stop, women are unwanted beyond x age. Dating gets harder for women and it does so on a curve. While for men it gets better up to 30 then stays relatively flat most of their life , with a slight peak at 50, while never even coming remotely close to that of a pre 30 yr old woman.

When I compare age and dating success on average here's where I see the concept.

Could be 32, this about the age women first become equally successful as men there age.

Could be 40, this is the first time women drop significantly below men and is below the peak success for men over their lifetime.

Could be 50, this is the first time the disparity between the success of the two is as large (although reversed) as it is between men and women in their early 20s.

It's OLD but in this case it seems to be fairly representative of general reality.

For sheer volume of attention....women their entire lives outpace men dramatically, it's just getting the men they actually want that becomes the issue.
