Ever seen in movies how the actress would ignore the guy when he's really into her, buys her flowers, helps her as a good person, is actually really kind and when he confesses her, ends up getting rejected.

But all of a sudden when he leaves her and finds out another chick the actress gets jealous. It's somewhat the same irl too, why is that they don't initially like us then, all of a sudden when we end up dating a better looking person they get jealous or feel like they missed something out?

The only reason it happens it's because they had this perception that you're the only better person that they can possibly pursue so basically they think they're almost irreplaceable and you couldn't do any better.

The only reason they go back to the guy/girl they friendzoned/rejected is because their main love interest didn't want it/ broke up with them. So they found out you're still for them after all of this and think you're gonna accept them no matter what.

Usually when your crush is attractive, this is what they have in their mind, but in reality guys, don't let their looks and body overpower your self respect.

Yeah your crush was hot af you liked them, but they liked that douche/bitch who treated them like shit, you stayed there and held them emotionally with no return of emotional interest.

Then they realised "oh you were there for me all this time I'm in love with you", reply with "you treat me like an option, I'd leave you like a choice".
