The OP in that thread makes the claim that the data is accurate as of 2019 but the census data was clearly gathered in 2014. That is 8 years ago. That is an entire age cohort of people. How accurate is the data?
This brings up one of the issues I have with reading about relationships here and that is the complete lack of reliable data. I think it is very difficult to make any claims no matter which pill you believe in.
It seems like every sex survey that gets linked here uses data that is pre-online dating reaching critical mass and pretty much outdated already. There doesn't appear to be any data that is recent and gathered from a large and representative sample size. People on all sides are going in circles repeating the same points with the same bad data over and over.
