Title pretty much says it all. Now, I certainly would not consider myself to be high “smv.” But I’m certainly not fat and I’ve never been sexually active. I would say also that based on how most men treat me I have high respectability. In other words, they don’t ask me out, but they never treat me like a piece of garbage. I’m someone they take seriously.

I guess my question is, to the promiscuous men or to men who would be promiscuous if they could (this does not include formerly promiscuous men who are now reformed and monogamous at heart): what makes you think you’re entitled to a “respectable” women? Or what makes you think an intelligent, respectable woman would want you?

For me, even though I clearly don’t get romantic attention from men, I would never settle with some guy who secretly wished he could have Stacy. I don’t care how “attractive” he is. That attitude makes him instantly gross to me. My impression is that any self respecting woman would feel the same. I just think that most self respecting women are naive about the way most men are, and they don’t realize that their man would drop them if he had a chance with a prettier woman.
