This was brought up in one of my previous posts and this seriously needs to be understood properly so that people once and for all realize they’re using inconsistent logic. The top comment talked about how the relevant metric to look at is how men commit more crime than women. As such, it is entirely reasonable to be more scared of men.

The logical form is as follows: Because X is more likely to commit crime than Y, it is reasonable to be more scared of X

This is the PRIMARY reason why women say they are justified in fearing men more than women.

Note, however, that gender is merely one kind of grouping. Replace X with grouping based on height, race, money, or whatever else, many women will suddenly be uncomfortable. This is when they change their logic. If it is pointed out that a person with a particular skin tone is more likely to commit s crime than another, the response is “it’s not the same.”

No, it’s LITERALLY the same. If you want to be consistent, you need to apply your logic CONSISTENTLY. Otherwise, you’re admitting that you choose to discriminate against men but no one else.
