The majority of homeless people are men. The majority of suicide deaths are men. Young men graduate college less than young women. Young women are out-earning young men. Single women are more likely to own a home than single men. There are gross discrepancies in the amount of government aid available to men and that available to women.
Yet I've never seen women marching to end male homelessness. I've never heard a radio ad about raising money for prostate cancer. I've never seen a commercial asking men if maybe it's time to give college a second chance. Literally, nobody cares if you live or die. Nobody cares if you're educated or fulfilled. Nobody cares about you.
And you will be openly mocked, belittled, and humiliated if you don't fit into the predefined social mold that exists for men. Homeless? Fuck off. Small dick? Haha. Suicidal? Ew.
Why bother trying to be part of society that at best ignores you, and at worst is openly antagonistic towards you? I've seen so many articles like this: "Why are young men dropping out? It must be because educated women scare them." They always come to the same, obtuse, and illogical conclusions. "Men are just stupid/lazy/useless/onerous in some way, I guess. Women are better anyways."
Young men are dropping out because they are treated by society like actual, literal disposable objects. That's the real reason.
Edit: To everyone asking me in the comments why women should be responsible for helping men, this is the reason: Feminism by its literal definition is about fostering gender equality. If men are disproportionately negatively affected by things like homelessness, violence, a lack of education, and presumptions of criminality, then these are inherently feminist issues. If you are a feminist that doesn't care about male problems, then you are not a feminist.

Sounds about right.

Edit; BOOOO mods I spent ages typing this out.
My thoughts are feminism is mostly about women. There is a more egalitarian branch which does (I believe based on a few articles researched) speak and organise in relation to Men's rights also. More recently this arm has been focused on areas around men feeling like they can not share emotion and not bottling everything up - something which many Men disagree with teaching.
Changes to sentencing guidelines and education have happened in the last 20 years to tackle sentencing differences (At least in the UK, probably in the USA - it's not something many people are aware of). The current sentencing differences (when aggregated factors accounted for) I think was much closer but not quite there (I'd have to go and check this again, was a few years since I looked). The thing though - this is known, and people are working on it.
We also do have events to raise awareness, we have Movember that raises things like prostate and money for it, and there have been art displays etc on Male suicide (at least in the UK, I'm just going to guess you have these awareness days in the USA also). The Gillette ad brought up male suicide. It's fair to say there needs to be more done, but there are things being done.
Some things, like homelessness for example is much harder to get people to listen. Many many people in a conservative ran America and UK believe homeless people put themselves their and do not deserve support. The reasons WHY people become homeless go completely over their heads.
Homelessness is also closely connected to class divide, and culture divides.
It's not easy to solve because many would rather live on the streets than halfway houses. Majority are addicts and treating addicts at the cost of the state is not accepted by the electorate. There are some good programs in the UK but it's certainly not 'there' yet ( and I feel a little sad when I say I personally believe the focus should be on preventing people from becoming homeless rather than trying to fix the ones already there). Again the UK is a little different from the US, I read in one of your states started throwing people in jail for sleeping on the streets... like... ?
But when we look at the wider area there are still difficulties.
Some of the men's rights subs are busy bashing women (While some are genuinely focused on Mens rights) - and so they thrust it into a difficult position. Insulting people doesn't generally make them more open to fighting for you. No one is going to take you seriously and the ideas you come up with are damaged because now it is associated with people who do not deserve anyone's respect.
I get irrationally angry with circumcision in America, like when a thread comes up on Reddit I'm frothing at the mouth but so many people are still all for it and there's only so far I can push the buttons of American Men, people not of my culture and of the gender affected some ways it's I shouldn't be the one trying to educate them or tell them what they should or should not be doing with their own kids.
Which leads on to the next issue. Women telling men to do things can come across as condescending, naggy and generally unwelcome.
I think people do care, things are being done and many feminists are the ones doing this. There is scope to get more people on board, the best push is getting more men on board. The current focus on mens mental health and getting men to speak out - I think this is a good focus. The more men who can share their experiences (without being a dick about it) energises more to act.

Internet incel bullshit.
No significant number of young men are "dropping out of society", and the ones that do so are losers anyway who weren't going to amount to shit. Even if a few might have turned out to be worth something, they're too small in number to matter.

I don't think so. I personally see young men these days as being lazy and too dis-incentivized to give a shit or succeed. I personally used to be driven to succeed (maybe because of my old blue-pilled fantasies) but over the last couple years I'm really losing motivation. I've worked myself into a position that I make enough money to afford a home and a couple of cars, to be a regular middle class regular joe, but day by day I lose more and more motivation. I look around and go "Why the fuck do I work 50 hours a week to afford this shit? What's the fucking point?"
My parents programming is still ingrained in me enough that I keep grinding, but I can definitely see why a lot of men my age don't give a flying fuck. In the old days guys would figure out if they made money to buy a car and get a place that it would get them pussy and that motivated them; these days it doesn't. Women don't fuck men for those reasons anymore. I get why young men are dropping out and don't fucking care.
Besides, from my experience youth in the workforce is like 3 to 1 female now. Men just aren't getting jobs, or they aren't trying. Either way it's a problem.

Somewhere along the way, you got this idea that you're supposed to be happy and feel whole and complete.
And here you are working hard but not feeling happy and complete and saying "Gee. This isn't working!"
Because your parents taught you that it's important to make money, but they never actually taught you about life. Your father knew it wasn't about money and cars and houses and pussy, but somehow he failed to teach your that.
I think your parents, and society as a whole, love you, and men as a whole, too much. We're not teaching young boys the hard lessons any more. Instead, we bolster their self-esteem and make them think they're supposed to be happy and feel whole all the time.

I don't necessarily think that's true. My father has never seemed like a happy person.
And I get what you're saying, that men shouldn't be coddled, that we should be strong, and that as men our lives are mainly ones of servitude. That's fine and I would be OK with that, BUT this is where my point comes in. The carrot on the stick for the men of old was his wife, it was his kids... and if you did these things you were basically guaranteed a wife and one on your level, not some fatty with 2 kids that aren't yours.
Now you aren't guaranteed this, and a lot of men that would have gotten a woman in the days of old aren't getting them now. So why would they bother with being anything other than happy? ( i.e. not working, playing video games, smoking weed, and jerking off all day)

Yes they are. I have multiple colleagues in their fifties and sixties who have sons that live at home in their mid twenties who have failed to launch. Its pervasive.

Standard grade losers.
These are not men choosing to "drop out of society" because "society doesn't care about them". It's losers who aren't amounting to anything because they're losers, then retroactively blaming society as an excuse.
These guys weren't about to go to college, then grad school, then get their PhD, then go cure cancer, but whoops, they realized all the homeless men out there and more women in college and people not caring about them as much and decided not to bother.
They were losers first. And now they're retroactively blaming society. They were not about to go do great things, then decided to drop out instead because of some imaginary gender war.
What changed isn't more men "dropping out". It's people being more accepting of losers. If anything, it's people caring too much about young men. They want their sons to be happy, so they focus on building up their self esteem and telling them how gosh darn special they are, letting them live at home until they're 30, and failing to teach them the work ethic people used to teach their boys with tough love - by caring and loving them less, not more. We care about our sons so much that we're hobbling them with love.
