To what extent do common perceptions lead men to be less likely to pursue custody

There's two specifically that I wanted to talk about

First is the belief that women make better caregivers, often the reasoning is because of biological reasons.

While I'm sure we can agree this is not always" the case so we can ignore that for a second, do you think this is *usually the case? Do you think this perception or stereotype is warranted? What would it take to change?

Second is the idea that the courts will win mom custody anyways so why try? Even though some evidence suggests otherwise. Do you think this narrative is wrongfully parroted by women or men for personal gain?
