Why do so many women want men to “take the initiative”, “be thoughtful”, “plan the dates”, etc. It’s like women want men to be into doing the same stuff as them but majority of the time we’re just not. I mean the same goes for men, but that’s not typically the dynamic of a relationship. It’s usually a woman expecting a guy to want to go do some girly shit in the name of “spend time with me”.

I don’t really care if any woman i’m with buys me stuff. I don’t think a man should expect that of a woman, and I don’t think a woman should expect a man to spoonfeed her or whatever “romance” stuff she’s thinking about, that’s not really a man “leading”. Majority of the time a guy only does all of these things because they wanna smash. No way in hell do all of these men really want to be out here going to a bunch of restaurants, getting all dressed up for some ig selfies 24/7, going to countless museums, posing in front of flowers, etc!

I mean if she told me she wanted to do that i’d maybe set it up for her! But why do I have to be there? On top of that, a lot of people don’t spend time with each other just to spend time with each other doing NOTHING. Needing your guy to “do something thoughtful” or you are gonna assume he doesn’t like you doesn’t really make any sense. I mean, thats pretty much a clear indication that you don’t really fuck with the guy anyway if you can’t just be together. And of course i’m not saying all girls are like this but a large majority are, especially younger ones (20s).

My hobbies are my hobbies and your hobbies are your hobbies we shouldn’t have to both want to do them to be in a relationship, attracted to each other and unconditionally love each other. And i’m not talking about more important things like diet choices, religion, political beliefs, etc. Those are more so personality traits than hobbies…
