THIS IS A DISCUSSION, NOT SO MUCH A CMV. I am just curious how y'all see these things

I don't see what's wrong with killing a baby if it's crippled or has a major genetic defect that makes them ugly as fuck and miserable when older.

It will be a HUGE burden both financially and emotionally since it takes a lot of time and energy mentally plus feeding the damn thing.

If the baby was never born, or if killed as a newborn, it really doesn't do any harm since the thing is not self aware and never has a shot of a decent life. Arguably this does less harm since it prevents suffering of the "human" because their life won't really be too great anyways and they don't have much to live for.

I've volunteered with disabled people and most of them are a bunch of bitter people who survive but don't really live.

I'm not saying we shoot combat vets or anything. But why not nip genetic trash in the bud when they are babies.

Plus it improves the gene pool of society and leaves more money for people who got disabled legitimately like in a workplace accident.

I am not heartless, it honestly seems this is the most compassionate thing to do for everyone.

Steven Hawkings doesn't count. There are far more who live miserable lives and we have enough immigrants to fill the universities with new researchers that we don't lose much from removing the genetically challenged
