I agree that you should be able to discuss your ideas freely (regardless of how vehemently I may disagree with them), but it's not in my power as a user to make the decisions. Reddit is a business and if you're hurting their bottom line, it's their own prerogative to shut down whatever subreddit they want to shut down - it's their platform, they can do with it as they please. PussyPass is probably as much of an eyesore to the left-wing narrative, but that doesn't change the fact that this was a community takeover by the alt right, and it's only a matter of time before this subreddit gets shut down too. And where will you go then? I'm surprised you guys are trying to establish yourselves on reddit to begin with given their history of shutting down communities that don't fall within the overton window when there is voat and pol to go to. Why not go somewhere where you don't get bothered?

Gay couples can't do anything about their sexuality. This amounts to discrimination. If we had no discrimination laws, what would keep a store owner in rural Alabama from saying "We don't serve n???ers here"? Regarding muslims: There are muslims and there are islamists. I don't have an issue with muslims or people who keep to themselves with their religion despite having an issue with the pervasive nature of Islam and the religion's leadership trying to infect the entire world with their ideology.

That being said: I don't have any favourite subreddits with right wing mods because I'm not right wing. I don't tend to browse right wing subreddits because I would consider myself a classical liberal.

Of course I see an issue with censorship on reddit, but when you are talking about taking off my blinders, you seem to be the one disregarding reality here - my point still stands: They are a business who are free to close down whatever communities they see fit. May it be fatpeoplehate, may it be coontown, may it be altright. Whether I think there is an issue is absolutely irrelevant. The reality is: Reddit is shutting down right wing subreddits, and it's only a matter of time before they will be shutting this one down due to the fact that a subreddit that was previously discussing female rapists evading jail time due to a sexist double standard is now suddenly discussing the perils of multiculturalism. So it's only a matter of time before both subreddits will have gone down the drain when it's only one community they're after. There's pol to go to, there's voat to go to - why stick around on reddit when it is clearly a hostile platform to your ideas?
