I had something similar happen in my primary school. Singapore is known for being a very sexist country but this was my first time seeing it. Theres this kid(male) that was known for having anger issues(we were all 7-9 at the time) and he would regularly punch guys when he was mad for no reason. This went on for months and he had bruised alot of us.

Then one day he had accidentally hit a girl. The teacher say and freaked out, she started shouting about how non gentelmen like that is(thats something alot of teachers do) and how hes a horrible child and stuff.

I honstly felt bad for him because he was never punished so theres no way for him to know what he did was bad until that day.

I got into a stupid argument with my sister once, things got heated and she started hitting me. I fought back, kicked her stupid ass then, she said she was gonna lie and press charges for rape. Since this happened I understood how fucked up things were for men.

I'm even more for gender equality since I understood that men have a lot to win and women, a shit ton of privileges to lose.
