I agree with the judge, obviously, but why did the judge let it go over a month and over a half million dollars. If the mother was so bad, a ruling should've come down within weeks.

He controls how long it goes on, then turns and criticizes the parents for letting it go on so long.

This is sad. My story is the exact opposite. When friends and family told me to fight for joint custody, I backed down. I knew my wife more than anyone, I knew she'd dig in her heals. She is stubborn as a mule. Instead I went the opposite direction, I let go completely. Gave her total control. I worked solely on being a better man, a better father, and a good ex husband. 14 years later we are a loving family, not that we got back together, but that me, my ex-wife, her husband are loving parents and friends. We trust each other. Our daughter did not suffer over childish playground rules. Parents need to put their egos aside and truly think of the kids.
