She didn't get it.

They could have been extra courteous but they didn't have to. That's the end of the story.

They paid their fare and reserved their seats. She flied through a cheap system and got a random seat.

She showed no respect and she bitched about it.

How's this their fault? She put the two of them through something entirely unfair.

There is no fucking way I'm ever giving up my idle set. I'm 6.3" and most window and middle seats wont even let me sit properly. I've had this problem in every airline I ever took. Fuck that. I'd refuse to move. Tell them my reasons and sue them if they forced me to move. That woman can go fuck herself and find a different flight. NTA.

I don’t know the full story and it’s bullshit that she went to complain, they totally had the right to deny her and all but I feel like if I were in the situation where I was sitting between two friends I might also ask to switch with one just so they’re not talking in both my ears over me the whole flight. Was it actually because they were both men and she felt “unsafe”? I immediately just read this as not wanting the annoying noise.
