I don't know about this at all. I mean I get that she was locked up cause she wouldn't shut up, but everything about that was uncomfortable for both parties.

That judge was antagonizing them both hardcore. You see how he told the dude it applied to him as well? That guy didn't say nothing and the judge was still giving him the evil eye.

I feel bad for that guy. Cause you know he was scared. Judge tells you you can't say anything and have to just sit there and be degraded. Then cops start running around grabbing all sorts of people near him and arresting them and you know he wanted to run out of that room or ask if he could leave, but he can't. He knows if he says anything at all he's going to jail with his crazy ex. He has to just hide in the corner and pray to god the judge doesn't turn his wrath on him next.

I mean even though you know everything fucked up is happening to her and her family it's still like... fuck at any moment that judge could decide to turn on you next. Something about that just seems wrong. Idk how to express it in a way others would comprehend but sometimes I understand why people run from the cops.

From what I could tell from the video, were in a court room for mistreating a child, getting chewed out by a judge is humiliating but at least it isn't jail time or a fine.

The woman didn't respect the judges authority in the court room, which is always a mistake.

The only thing he would be scared of is the penalty he will possibly face for the treatment of his child. Clearly didnt do anything serious as they are both sharing joint custody prior to the freak out. How messed up do you think you would be mentally if your parents, whom you love, talk bad about each other to your face. As a child that is a terrible thing to have to deal with and psychological issues may stem from something like this.

It's uncomfortable and they can definitely turn you on them, but it's just something you get used to.

You just supported my statement... No child should be forced to endure this, I am sorry you had to deal with hateful parents yourself, but what part were you disagreeing with? They're going to go on doing the same thing they always do. Oh and if that kid calls the cops because his parents are being abusive to him... you know what they're going to do? They're going to tell that kid if he meant what he said on the phone the cops are going to take him out of his home. Trust me... most kids don't want to be taken out of their home. Being taken away from everything you know and everything that comforts you is a terrible thing.

If that judge would have ordered them to therapy... things could probably get a little better, but just yelling at them... nah that didn't help anything. You don't want a mom like that being mad cause she might vent that anger on you and she went to jail. So someone's gonna pay.

I feel sorry for the kid now. Parents are assholes, but yelling at them didn't make anything better.

Clearly the Mother was the only angry one, so I would agree that she wont learn her lesson just from a judge's verbal statements, but maybe that jail time will teach her something. You cant say they ARE going to do something bc we are completly speculating about the situation. My Dad was a very angry man while I was growing up and never thought he would change. With time he realized that is not healthy for anyone and changed his ways. So yes, angry people will change when you dont expect it.

I don't know why it bothers you so much. We already talked about the woman. I just think it's funny that you thought your father had somehow changed on his own when he didn't do that at all. It was a lack of testosterone that brought him down.

Wait... now I think I get it. You thought your father calmed down on his own and you were proud of him because it strengthened your relationship. Having me contribute his positive changes to biological facts damages your view of him because on some level you realize if we raised his testosterone levels... who he is would become who he was.

That's why you mentioned my parents. You feel like I'm attacking you or rather your beliefs. I can understand that, but that's not what I was doing. See growing up around really angry people can either make you really angry or make you really calm depending on your chemical balance.
