Now this may come off quite unpopular but hear me out. That's four lives she could have completely ruined, no college or uni would take them and almost no one would ever hire them, completely destroying their lives and that's probably only the start of it. What else is left after that? You get out of prison one day but you still have no future, little to no chance of a family (who would ever want to be with or believe a convicted rapist?) Much less a normal life and some of your family members may never look at you the same despite the fact you never did anything wrong or hurt anyone, but she gets to continue her life like nothing happened and milk the fuck out of that moment for sympathy... No no no no, she'd have to die.

I’ll preface this by saying that this woman is a piece of shit. And there are times when women make false rape accusations. But for all of the complaints about punishments being too little, so many women doing this etc...

The problem with “false rape accusations” is that it’s assumed that just because a man isn’t convicted, the accusation was false.

Women already have enough reasons to not want to come forward about rape, but the threat of higher punishment than a misdemeanor if the man is not convicted would put society back hundreds of years.

It’s a dream for rapists, because as someone who has experienced rape and trial. I was thoroughly tested and there were points when I could have lost the case if I didn’t clearly remember things like “what his penis looked like” or “why he chose me over anyone else”.
